Better than alternatives, but still not great
This app does its job in terms of providing an easy way to manage reminders for birthdays, and I like the intuitive options for adding new birthdays manually or from contacts. However, it has a few design flaws. The main pain point I have is the menu to display the year of birth is too large for the screen, so the year is not visible for selection. I have to scroll and guess when I might have landed on the right year, then check the saved record to see how close I got. The app doesn't rotate with the device and font size can't be adjusted, so there's no apparent solution. I would be happy to share a photo with developers if useful. The ads are annoying; and I understand why they're necessary, but the speed and size of their pop up usually gets in the way of using the actual app.

Great app if you can get through the ads
I don't mind ads. I don't mind them one bit. Ads provide the revenue needed to make apps free. That said, the ads in this app are TERRIBLE! Over half have no way to close them or, ironically, follow the ad to the advertised product/service. They pop up, covering the birthdays, and won't go away. You have to completely close and reopen and either hope you get a different ad or try to catch a glimpse of the next birthday before the unclosable ad pops up. It makes an otherwise great app almost unusable. I hope this is something that gets fixed in a future version (and will happily upgrade the rating if they do!)

I had previously given this app a great review, but am now retracting it and giving a current review until the developer updates this app to enable us to use with iOS 11.

Since the app has not been updated to use with the current iOS platform, the app is now useless. Through my limited research, I understand that the necessary iOS update from a 32-bit to a 64-bit is not that difficult for you to do. I’ve tried to reach you through other means to no avail. Please update your app to work with iOS 11 so that we can use it again, and when you do, I will change my rating back to 5 stars. Thank you.

This is my third attempt at a user friendly, no brainier reminder APPS. Simply sync with your social media accounts, add in your custom reminder and your all set. You set the alert notice and your done. Can use as a simple day reminder as well, instead of a birthday name just make the name Anniversary, Doctors appointment, staff meeting. May not be able to set exact times for these types but at least it can remind you the day of. Great APP... Consider upgrade to set exact time to notify and you have a superb Reminder APP. BTW for a tiny fee you can remove the ads, and it's worth it.

Is there an update coming?
I loved this app and have used the paid version for years. But since iOS 11 update, all of the info in the app and even the ability to view the birthdays I had saved (the only place they are saved) is rendered inaccessible. Even though I have them backed up to the cloud, I can’t access the info to copy or even view it to recover my info. Clicking on support through the App Store leads to a website with no contact email. Please post on your site how those of us who supported you and purchased your app, if and when an update can be expected. Or at least how to retrieve our data.

I haven't tried any paid bday apps, but this one serves my purposes. I like seeing the events in a chronological listing and being able to set reminders at any time of day. Could be improved with calendar view and ability to go directly to contact card. Also, age for people whose birthdate is defined without the year in the contact card gets automatically set to 407 instead of unknown. Still, overall this is a great app and provides me with all my essential needs.

It really works great but?
I really love this app I always forget birthdays and this one is easy and really works...... But the beep reminder is so short not loud and is only once so if your phone is not is not in front of you then your not going to hear it and it does NOT repeat the reminder.. A text too would be nice or an acknowledge feature to say you got the reminder those two features would make this app the best.. But it does work great just needs improving!

Love the app! Can't read the year
I bought the app when I was looking for something to help our entire family with birthdays. I LOVE it but wish you could see the year!!! It's so hard when your putting in aunts, uncles, grammas, and cousins when you have to count 40 years or so. You get dizzy/frustrated by seeing the same number and you lose how many you have scrolled through. I have a HUGE family!! I'm talking hundreds. So , yea.... But other then that I love it!! No adds for me cause I bought it. Well worth the buck!!

This app does have a few things that could be fixed.
Like the whole year isn't visible when setting the birthday, and I wish it would let you remind more than once before the birthday. I would liked to be reminded a week ahead as well has the day before but the app only lets you choose one.
Despite these two things I give this app 5 stars because it's so simple and exactly what I was looking for.

VERY DISAPPOINTING APP - DESERVES A 0 REVIEW
This app is definitely in need of an upgrade. It hasn't had one since it was developed in Jan 2014! Get with the times people!!!
When I first got this app I Loved it... It would sync with all my contacts & FB.
About a year ago, it quit syncing with FB & I have sent 3 emails to tech support about it... No responses have been received & no upgrades have occurred. I even purchased the Pro version ~ same problem.
I have many friends on FB that are not in my contact list, so this is very frustrating when I can't sync FB with this app.
I also agree with another reviewer's comment about not being able to see the year when adding a new entry.... This should be an easy fix - as should all of the above issues!
This app is a useful tool, but it's functionality has taken a downward spiral during the past year. I cannot recommend it to anyone until it has been upgraded to fix these problems. You obviously are not reading your reviews & wishes of your subscribers.
