I have major issues with this game but I still love the game as a whole!
I’m 100% sure that 80% of the people who play this game have the same issue that I have when getting better loot and familiars in this game.. which is luck. You would either have the weirdest luck and get a mythic schematic at lvl 20 or you would have hardly any luck at all and will still have epic gear at around lvl 500. That doesn’t make sense right? So why is it that when I was at a low level I got a mythic schematic as my first major item to get in the game. ALSO why is it that when I had a 500% chance to get an good item but still don’t get anything good?! Like I would be going into a raid that has a 400% chance to find an item, I use the bitgor that gives me a additional 500%, so together that’s 900, but then when I use all my raid shards, I still don’t get any legendary, set or mythic item at all, it’s just unfair, but you would only have more of an chance to get an epic in chest and nothing else, and I would be going into regular dungeons and do battles that give me no item when I have an 800% chance to find one, but must be weird right. I know I said a lot and that I was gonna talk about the familiars, but I think I wrote an essay so imma stop but please developers, try to make it a bit easier for others to get better loot.

Great Game, Also Very Grindy
This game is a very grindy game. If you like the feeling of accomplishment after real life weeks/months of grinding for a single item or duplicate familiars to progress more, then this might be the game for you. The beginning of the game is very easy to progress, but once you reach the fourth zone, most player’s progress will become very slow. It might take up to a week to beat the fourth zone after some grinding, and it progression through the zones get slower overall. There’s lots of great guides for this game to help with progression. A profusion of luck is involved in recruiting the familiars and getting the equipment you want. The 5 different energy implementations in the game can can mean over an hour of playing per day to make good use of most of it. There’s also an auto mode, which helps out so much if you want to make some progress while wanting to do other things. This is a great long term game to play if you like collecting and occasional accomplishments after many hours of grinding

The featured review talks about how if there wasn’t an energy limit you could just grind easily and get a ton of familiars except artificially increasing the length of a game is the biggest pay to win gimmick ever. The game is lazily made. I don’t mind the game itself but everytime I try and get a familiar it fails unless you bribe it with super hard to get gems. It takes ridiculous amounts of items just to upgrade one rare piece of equipment. You have to watch adds to get the rare gear because it’s the only way you’ll even survive. Most of it is pay to win. There isn’t even a story! You could add a story that would take an hour to a week to write at most and essentially double the time without putting on an energy limit but that’s not going to happen because energy is how they make their money. The main way anyway. Oh, and the reason you have to grind for familiars is because of how rare they are even though they aren’t that useful they’re treated like gems and the game constantly rubs it in if you don’t have a full team of them. After the first two guaranteed familiars I completed the first map and guess what. I only got two familiar offers and they both failed when I tried to persuade them which by the way costs 1k gold and is rigged with a low success chance of about 40%. You can’t repeat levels, only dungeons and I never got another familiar offer from a repeated dungeon. It’s annoying, requires grinding, and get’s pretty boring when you add it all together.

Good game lots of work
Let me fist start off by saying i really like the game The artwork The mechanics it all blends nice and well but what really makes this game frustratingly fun is the fact that you will find your self in pointless dungeon and grinding hours and hours just for a pice of loot or a ruin or other things you need to build up your character so he or her can become stronger and not die all the time like it happens to me but what’s really sad is the Energy is absolutely dreadful look I understand that the developers don’t want you wasting your time on a game but at the same time players like myself are really competitive and will stop at nothing until I achieve what ever my goal may be wither that be a ruin or a pice of armor you see what I’m saying I could go on about how much was promised but sooo little was given in return I really enjoy this game I do but it seems to me that the dungeons are really repetitive I almost feel bad for calling in other people to do my job for me I hope that both you there person that reads this and the developers that made this game takes the time to read this and get a little understanding of what people like have to deal with when it comes to bit hero’s so please all I ask of you developers is FIX YOUR GAME!!

Fun Game but…
I do enjoy the idle rpg scene this game gives to the community, but it comes at a cost, for now hopefully.
My first time playing I had bought the starter pack and the Mount pack (~15 USD) great, no issues there. But then I happened to get a glitch or bug or whatever you want to call it, where when I try to open my game, it’s just a blank screen, 15 seconds go by and it crashed out. So in response i deleted the game and try to reinstall it. Once I do so, I see there’s no “restore purchase” option. Sh** out of luck because I didn’t make an account. I can take partial blame for that but I won’t take blame for the game becoming unplayable after it being closed and never wanting to reopen again. Hopefully I can get a response with some options here. I did leave a 4* because the game IS worth playing and every game has their bumps in the road so for me, it gets the benefit of the doubt. If you take anything from this review, let it be [Make an account as soon as you finish the tutorial to ensure you lose nothing if a fatal error occurs like myself]

Nostalgia
This is a great game, no question there. But what makes it a great game is the feeling of something original and fun. It goes towards the very basics of turn based gaming and is a roam type game which makes it even better. I had this game on a different account which was level 128, and now I’m starting over cause I lost my old phone... but never mind that. If you’re looking for a great game look no further. U may see people complaining about the energy system or “pay to win” but this is neither of those. It has the option to buy things in the game, but honestly they don’t really help you. More of just a boost for an hour or two. And the energy, a lot of games use this to keep players from becoming super good within the first 45 minutes. This is purely so you don’t get bored and delete the game. This is a super fun game I honestly would recommend it to anyone who likes classical games. And don’t worry, the game is just like the video, no ripoff there 🥴

The game itself is actually pretty fun. But the fact that you have to grind so incredibly hard to get half decent familiars and loot completely shuts most of the fun out of the game. It wouldn’t be relatively bad if it weren’t for the energy and how bad that mechanic is. Yeah, the creators obviously don’t want you grinding 24/7 and want to limit your time to play. But 1 energy every four minutes doesn’t seem very ok for a game that requires you to put so much work into getting good loot. The amount of time it takes to get one single energy really effects the time played for players and eventually, they will lose interest and move onto other games. This is personally my least favorite part of the game but, drop rates, XP earning, and capture rates are completely horrible in this game. Going into heroic dungeons will probably only guarantee you 2 capture chances, and even then, the likeliness of you even catching a familiar is extremely low. And schematics are completely stupid. I spent 3 days trying to get a schematic for one familiar fusion and even then, the fusion wasn’t even that good. I still enjoy the game but i think that it needs a few fixes.

Nice game but not all ads give rewards
Good game so far. I’m level 156 which is neither an amateur nor an advanced player. I’m having issues with getting rewards from video ads. Often times I’ll watch a video expecting to get a reward but I don’t receive it. The ad for the game “Endless Frontier” is shown a lot and I never am rewarded for viewing it. I have to watch an ad for a different game after the Endless Frontier ad and then I get a reward. I think the developers are probably aware of this issue, but if we’re still watching the ads regardless of rewards then why would they care? This is annoying because time is money, and I don’t like wasting my time for no reason. I’ve had similar issues with other games and the responses I’ve received after filing complains are along the lines of “We have no control over the content of our advertisers.” This is just untrue because companies choose who they do business with. If your advertisers are failing to do what others can then maybe you should rethink who you do business with.

I am writing this as a honest review and as a frequent player of this game I feel like I have a understanding of the game. Bit heroes is a great mobile game it doesn’t matter if you like to spend hours playing the game to get that sweet reward or just pull your phone out on the bus and play for 5 mins. The game doesn’t force you to play a lot to get good but there are some problems. One problem I have come across is gems they are currency that is either gained threw adds and real money or gained very slowly threw quests. When you go to get “free gems” from the in game store it rarely works you can do one of the surveys for around a 100 gems but they NEVER work you can go threw the hole survey and follow what it’s making you do no matter what you will never receive anything I’ve tried it multiple times it doesn’t work. The last problem I have encountered is controls it is hard to get used to and would be so much easier is you had one of those joystick things and the player was locked on the screen

Continuous crashing
App refuses to open anymore. It started crashing when trying to open two days ago and the chances of it actually opened got slimmer and slimmer until finally now the game doesn’t even load. Maybe I’m out of phone data but I believe this is a game sided problem.———————————
Update: when I uninstall and reinstall the app it opens but after a while it begins crashing when I open it again. This is starting to become absurd and annoying. I have so much love for this game because it’s amazing and a serious time killer but how am I supposed to play when the game wont even let me??? I’ve spent way too much money and time on this game to just forget about it. please fix this crashing issue ASAP!! The screen turns gray upon opening then 15 seconds or so after it just sends me back to the Home Screen. Ridiculous. I do have an account with lots of good stuff on it so I don’t lose any progress but it’s still extremely annoying to have to delete and re-download the game five times each day.
