I can't adjust the photo since it only has is presets and not very good ones. They also want you to purchase some stickers and don't explain how to use them. They don't seem to go well with b&w photos.

Love this app and all the cool edits it can do. It is totally Hipster. Don’t listen to that negative comment. Though those other apps may have copied this app, the updates in this app are totally different and the quotes and the pictures that can be added to this app are totally worth it. I think you should get this app for sure. If you are hipster at all or want to be hipster (you know everyone wants to be a little hipster and wishes they could grow a dope beard like those real hipsters) then you can now be it! Just wait until all your friends see you and say: “look how hipster you are. That is so dope! Haha. I love it. Anyways, I hope all is well and you download this app. It would make me happy if you did. And you should give it a 5 stars because I think it is totally wort it! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Crash Fest! Upgraded to pro. For higher resolution saves. Went to crop an imported photo, crashed twice. Filters seem clean, but interface is awkward. You change your mind on choice of filter, you have to retake all the steps from the get go, very time consuming on a workflow. Got a pop up add, after applying my first effect, before upgrade. You will find it slowing you down even more in edit mode. Not a wise choice for them. Too much great competition in B&W camera apps, to be annoying like that.
Camera has gesture zoom, ability to adjust exposure, but not separated from focus area. Shifting focal point very slow, maybe just a sensitivity issue. You cannot preview or shoot with a B&W filters in place. One must shoot in color, then change to B&W in editing.

This is just from first 5 minutes of examining app. Who knows what else lurks in this app? I caution a wait on upgrade.

"Evil Twin" to B&W FX
Be careful, this is exactly the same app as B&W FX by a "different named" developer. I suspect that the color version of this Hipstagram app also has an "evil twin" I just haven't identified it yet. If you stick with the free versions, no problem, but if you buy the Pro versions, or the IAPs for the extra effects, you are wasting money because they are identical effects.
