Black SMS - Protected Texts Hack 5.1.6 + Redeem Codes

The app works well and the black bubble and lemon texting are great ideas. A few issues however:

It's great that when you leave the app (even without closing it) your displayed decrypted message/pic disappears. The only way for someone to bring it back is to repaste and input pw. HOWEVER if you don't use the page turn icon or close the photo or app then your secret photo stays displaying in the app. i.e. you're viewing private photo and someone walks up quickly so you quickly hit home button. The app is still open in the background so if you forget to go back and close that pic then someone can pickup your phone and open that app and your pic will still be displayed without re-entering a pw. Please fix this.

Also you can use 'link' method where you can just press the link in regular iMessage and hit 'open'. That opens the program automatically and gives you a pw prompt. Very few steps. However if you attach a photo it converts automatically to black bubble method.

If these things were fixed (mainly the photo staying issue) then it would be a 5 star app.

Like the original version much better

The receiver of the messages has to know what password was used to encrypt each of your messages (if you don't know their password, you can't read their messages). Assuming you're texting this person, there's a good chance that password will be sent in a text, making it available for anyone who really wants to read your messages.
You have to individually copy and paste (which is impossible to tell when the message has been pasted into the app, no paste button) each time your want to send or receive an encrypted message. There are several other apps out there that offer an alternative to using an standard SMS or MMS that don't require constant copy and paste (many of them are free!). It would be much simpler to send the messages over the internet directly through the app so that you are not jumping between apps all the time.

It encrypts really well. A good app. One of the great feature about this app which is not mentioned anywhere is that it also serves as a secondary check for people like me who sometimes sends messages to the wrong party because of the tendency to tap the "Send" button before checking who the recipient is.

However the black bubble currently works only for SMS and iMessage. In order to use this app for other texting app like Whatsapp, only the link works. And so when using the link, there is a manual process of pressing the green unlock button in order to decrypt (unlike the black bubble which black SMS decrypts automatically).

What would be a really good improvement for this app is to actually have texting capabilities. This would solve the "switching-between-apps" inconvenience that some face.

Not the hide feature but the way that you type a password then you get the message the only glitch is that the other person has to have the app but other then that it is good I was going to rate it 4 stars but I wanted to be nice

Gbtech and Roc, you probably didn't understand how to use it. I figured out how to use this easily (with multitasking) and its very effective

This app is great. Sure it's got some work left, but its functionality and use is great. I love using it when I have that secret message to send or want something temporary. Looking forward to future updates!

Was a great app. Could have sent a message easily and use Touch ID to open the message. Who wants to type a password every time they get a message. Can't send pics from your library either even though it's an option. I'll delete this app until they unfix their bug fixes. In addition, I set a password and it didn't work the next time I tried to use it 😑

This app is almost useless now after the update. The newest feature (lemon text) is now a feature I cannot use. I've tried everything under the sun to get it to respond but it just doesn't work. Forget sending texts that are discrete, I would like to just try and get a working app. Please please PLEASE update to fix this error.

What the app overview doesn't tell you is that each message has to be individually copied and pasted back into their app to compose and then copy to imessage. When you recieve a message it has to be copied back to their tool to be decrypted. Oh and your friend must have the app to read your decrypted messages as well. Too much work and a total waste. I want my buck back. Id rather buy a Wendys frosty.
