With Blinds Up, you can manage all aspects of your poker tournaments:

Current price for the Blinds Up Premium subscription varies based on the length of your auto-renewing subscriptions and may vary from country to country. For 1-month renewals, price is $3.99 USD per month per pay period, for 1-year renewals, price is $1.99 USD per month pay period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. 2.6 is working MUCH better...!
I am amending my previous review and upgrading my rating to a 4-star!
I ended up deleting the app off my iPhone 8+ and installing Version 2.6. I was very pleased to find that my two personal structures were intact and ready to use when I logged back in.
Also, I found the slightly different and upgraded interface easier to use - and quite a bit more intuitive.
I introduced our monthly poker league to Blinds Up last year and the group loves having a live timer they could see from anywhere in the room. We typically get 20 - 30 players every month and the sounds and voice elements of the blind timer add a level of real professionalism to our fun and friendly game!
You can take this app pretty deep in terms of keeping track of your league standings and player stats, etc.
It took me less than 10 minutes to create and save our standard league structure. It also has a very handy and powerful structure generator based on just a few simple parameters.
The developers have worked very hard to address any bugs and issues and do a terrific job of communicating with the Blinds Up community through Facebook and through even direct email. Based on their responsiveness and kind communications I am happy to pay the subscription even though they offered me a free one. I want to do my part to support this really fun and useful app…!

Poor Developer Support.
Do NOT pay for the premium content. I have been using this app for 2.5 years: Year one was GREAT! (Previous app version) it was just what I needed. Year two, there was a MAJOR update, SUPER buggy. Also, all of the features that I had gotten used to were now only available with a "premium" subscription. Once many of the kinks were worked out, I decided to use the rake from my monthly game to pay for the premium content. I had some account issues at first, but with some (slow) help from the developer, the issues were resolved. The app worked OK with the occassional crash or restart. Fast forward to year 2.5 (now), time to renew my annual subscription. I was charged by Apple the $24 to renew, yet all of the premium features got locked down. The app says I am no longer a subscriber. After three days of contacting the developer, I have received no response. (Must be holiday in France.) Well, *I* am NOT on holiday and it's time for my monthly game, so I have requested (and received) a refund from Apple. I will continue to use this as a timer ONLY until I find a more suitable app with adequate support.

New version is terribly buggy

It was simple and worked fine. The championship feature (adding up multiple tournaments) wasn’t that great but the app worked.
I really wanted to like the upgraded version, we waited for more than a year of the developer offering it “very soon”.
Its look-and-feel is intuitive, and it has some nice settings and features vs. old version. I don’t mind too much the steep price increase (from under $5 once to $27 per year)
But since it downloaded on its own it has been a mess. The upgrade crashed several times, had to delete and install multiple times just before a tournament started with 15 people waiting for me. It crashes and shuts down multiple times during a any tournament
i have no way of getting it to play any sounds (calling end of rounds, blinds, etc) completely mute.
It used to email a table with results, when requested which was great to share with everyone in our league and to compile in excel for further historical record, now you get the email with no attachment
If the upgrades to fix bugs are going to take as much as the last upgrade, is just another piece of (electronic) junk

The app developer responded to my email requesting information to sort out the problem. I responded on February 17th with the requested information and requested a refund, due to the fact that I was not able to use the app in time for the tourney I was hosting. I followed up with an additional email on February 20th requesting a status on my request.
As of today (February 22nd), no response from the developer regarding my requests for a refund. Not surprised to see the ratings for this app dropping like a rock.

I was a very big fan of this app until just recently. First of all, I don’t like that I have to pay a monthly subscription to use services that I didn’t have to pay for before. But I like the app so much that I accepted the $3.99 monthly fee so that I could use the app like I have in previous tournaments I have hosted.
Much to my dismay, the app failed to load the premium services even after I had paid for it. On one hand it says that I have already paid for the premium services and then I receive a second message that says I cannot access iTunes store. So I’m forced to use a different poker timer for my tournament this weekend.
I am on my third email to the company about this issue. They have not responded to date.
The app developer responded to my email requesting information to sort out the problem. I was a very big fan of this app until just recently. First of all, I don’t like that I have to pay a monthly subscription to use services that I didn’t have to pay for before. But I like the app so much that I accepted the $3.99 monthly fee so that I could use the app like I have in previous tournaments I have hosted.
Much to my dismay, the app failed to load the premium services even after I had paid for it. On one hand it says that I have already paid for the premium services and then I receive a second message that says I cannot access iTunes store. So I’m forced to use a different poker timer for my tournament this weekend.
I am on my third email to the company about this issue. They have not responded to date.

Still many bugs to fix
Newest update still did not fix any of the issues related to the layouts and sounds from not showing up. Without the layout to show the actual timer the app is useless. Same goes for the sound and there are no layout options under the “presents layout” to download so the “download all” button is pointless.
This app continues to disappoint ever since the major update. With the price increase that came from the major update we are literally paying more for less. Haven’t been able to use the app at my weekly game for 3 weeks now! The app and all of it’s features are great in theory but if the basic function of the app can’t work you owe your premium members their money back.
Will change my rating if issues are fixed.

why won't this submit
issue 1: Paid the 9.99, server issue indicated. No clue if download completed or how to complete the upgrade
issue 2: Input info for tourney, including chip denominations, # of chips, players and chip stack size. I expect this program to tell me how many of each chip to give each person for their starting stack. Could not get this done
Issue 3: Appears the only way to get support is through FB. I don't have a FB account nor do I want one.
Seems well thought out for the most part, if I can get these issues taken care of I'll revise this.

Not for me
I bought this app to streamline a little casual tournament. I hate to be the jerk in the room, but I think it’s awful. It appeared to not let me buy the upgrade. Then when I did, it still didn’t show up. So I tried to buy it again, but it wouldn’t let me because it said I already purchased it. My $5 is gone regardless.
The app itself is cumbersome. It takes forever to set up and isn’t clearly laid out. Once you put every signal detail in, I don’t see where you start the tournament.
Look I just want to say I have ten guys throwing $20 in the pot. What’s the pay out for top three if four guys rebuy? Tell me when the blinds go up and what the next round blinds are. That’s not that hard. I guess I’ll go back to setting a timer on my phone. Not a big deal.

Fantastic App
Our group has been hosting a weekly hold ‘em tournament with 20+ players for nearly 18 years. We started with a kitchen timer until one of the hosts bought a Poker Genie. I just completed a home remodel including the addition of a poker room and wanted to up the ante on our game management. I began my search looking for an app to do this and reading reviews of a number of them. Then, I came across Blinds Up and it seemed to have what I was looking for. WOW! This app is amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who hosts a game!

This app is amazing, and it does it all. The creator is very responsive to updating and improving the app, and for the money, this beats programs and apps much more costly.
I've used many many programs, and this takes the cake. My players love the custom features this app provides. Easily the best $10 I've spent on my poker setup.
I think the negative review posted must be a competitor, because it makes no sense. The app doesn't have the bugs he describes.

Went from great to a head ache
Been using this app consistently every week for the past year and was awesome with no complaints until app was updated now it a head ache to keep up with. Can not add new player as the text box is unresponsive. All the text boxes are blackened and hard to see while setting up tournaments. The final issue is the app closes out every3-5 minutes while using app and I find myself constantly having to restart the app. Please fix this issue because with this issues mentioned I’m not paying a higher price for an app that doesn’t work!!!
