Cool game but needs some work
This game takes the 'angry birds' mechanic but is a platformer instead of a shooting gallery. The mechanic of slinging things works brilliantly for touch controls and because of that this game has enjoyable, smooth controls. The art, animation, and sound are also above average. All in all a very polished game. However, there are still many minor tweaks this game needs. For instance, the power ups are timed independently of each other. This can get very confusing, a more elegant solution would be to simply refill the first power to 100% if you got a second power. The physics feel a little funny sometimes, especially if you run in to walls. There are also moving platforms - sometimes when you jump they stay still while other times they keep moving leaving Blobster to simply dangle in midair while you aim your shot. The balls sometimes feel hard to move too, like they are too heavy. Overall though these are minor critiques and for $1 this platformer is well worth the price. Although Blobster is a bit hard sometimes, I found it a rewarding experience that embraced a unique spin on a platformer and charming production qualities.

Was my son's fav game—now broken!!
My 4-year-old son adores this game. He plays it daily on his "iPod," (my old iPhone 4 with the SIM card removed) and is truly skilled at getting top rankings on every level.
The update to 2.0 broke his favorite game, because the "bug fixes" apparently included a forced change to the aspect ratio to exclude older/smaller screened iPhones. It works fine on my iPhone 5s but on his iPhone 4 the display is all squashed and the touch controls are mapped wrong.
I paid to unlock this game for his iPhone—and now it doesn't work! What a rip-off.

Great game, challenging and fun
After playing a few times I like the concept and I like the challenge. It's not an easy game, at least not for me. The graphics are cute and well done. I will say controlling the blob can be somewhat difficult. One other annoying thing others have mentioned is the obvious political intro. I don't need politics in my games, I get enough in real life. Other than that this is another fun, cute game by Chillingo. Well done!

As a platfomer excellent, espescially runs well on its platform. With left right touch to move and an angry birds escque catapult mechanic, trust me this works really well and not like ios platformers which just try's (unsecfully) to clone Mario.
The story line is a tad preachy espceially even calling the villan Corp B.P. ( big and powerful), but when was the last time you played a platformer for the story?
The game plays easy enough for little ones who will have fun just getting to one end to the next, if you're a better gamer there's plenty of challenge getting and unlocking everything. Usally I don't do that by this game makes it fun.

Blob-Tacular!!
I really enjoy this app because it isn't one of those games that you have to wait for the update to give you the next levels. It also is not something that you can beat in a flip of the thumb. Even though there are some things I would change, overall I would most definitely recommend the download of this app:)

A great twist of platformer and an angry birds like game. A hard game, so not for little kids! The only thing I don't like is that I can get new characters, new levels, etc, but I have to send a gift. It directs me to my crystal account and asks me to sign in, but it says I don't have wifi connection (which I do). But it is such a great game that it should have 5 stars because the gift problem is crystal's fault, not chillingo's

I really like chillingo and i really like their games but i am stuck on level
3-9 (3rd World 9th Level). I cannot no matter how hard i try collect all of the blobules in this level for the tiny size item only lasts for a while and the spikes (way too fast) kill you whenever you are small! So chillingo if you are reading this please make this level easier!!

The Problem Is The Addiction!
This game is very addicting! I love it! Only problem is... It gets me super frustrated once you finish world three. The levels are just so clever you think you know how to defeat it but you end up having to start the level over. That's ok though. It's just an awesome addicting game. That's all. I definitely recommend it to all!

Excellent game.
I've been playing this game for a while now and I have to say this is a fantastic game! It takes a little while to get used to making him jump but once you've got that down pat it's just plain fun! I'm on the last world now and it is HARD. Regardless I still come back to it and I will be sorry when I've finished the game.
