Description

Meet Blue Fever, a judgment-free community for building stronger connections with yourself and others (aka your new self care friend group).

We believe emotional wellbeing deserves as much support as our physical health, so we created a safe space to share whatever's on your mind with a caring community.

TLDR: Create pages + explore thoughts from others. Reply with a fresh perspective (or hug!) to show you care. We’re figuring out life together, one day at a time :)

TRACK YOUR FEELINGS
Check-in daily on your Mood Calendar + create pages to reflect on each mood. Over time, celebrate how far you've come with people who relate. Curious how everyone else is doing? Check out the Community Moods board!

SHARE REAL LIFE
Create pages to share your thoughts, stories, questions and creativity… without the stress typically experienced when posting to social media's highly-curated + filtered platforms. Customize your pages with fonts, colors, gifs, and stickers, or select a template for a thought-starter or extra support.

Whether you’re…
–> seeking advice on making better friends at school
–> wanting to share a confusing LGBTQIA+ dating experience
–> starting a diary to track your eating disorder recovery journey
–> ready to form a manifestation ritual (hello positive mindset!!)
… tell us about it on a page—we’re all here to support.

LET IT OUT DAILY
Build self-awareness by tracking your moods and emotions across your pages in Blue Fever. Creating a self check-in habit now will give you the opportunity to reflect and recognize the patterns and triggers that affect how you feel. When you practice sharing what you’re going through in safe spaces like BF, you’re likely to become more comfortable communicating your feelings in IRL too!

EXPRESS MORE, STRESS LESS
All identities, feelings and experiences are welcome in BF! BF was designed as a safe space for expressing, understanding and embracing your most authentic self. Our anti-toxicity tech eliminates the anxiety too-often triggered by pressure-filled, over-curated social platforms. Think of BF as emotional media, not social media.

Buttercuup_02,
Lots of love—and a couple suggestions
First off, I just wanna say—I’m so impressed and proud of you guys for how far you’ve come with BF! I loved using the texting service and now I’m loving the app as well. You’re making such a difference in the world and I’m so thankful to be a part of it!:)

I have a couple suggestions for the app as well.

1) It would be much easier to navigate other’s notes if there were a button (maybe in the top right or left corner) to specifically view other people’s notes (especially by topic/moodtag) rather than have to wait for your conversation with BF to finish loading.

2) I would love to see a separate “advice” section of the app where you can post questions and comment answers to other’s posts. Basically, an open discussion-based area for getting life advice from others like you.

- A side note on this: I really love the current functions and setup of the Notes and how you can leave hugs and reaction stickers. It feels easier to quickly react to a note without feeling pressured into commenting, which I bet means a lot more notes are getting reactions than they may otherwise have if it were a comment-based platform. However, having this separate part of the app where you *can* comment would be beneficial without sacrificing the simplicity and perfection of the Notes section.
spidey🕷️🕸️,
Love it only 1 issue
I love this app, I think it has a really supportive community and overall is just awesome. I like that there’s a private journal part, because if I just want to get something off my mind real quickly I can do so without having other people see it or worrying if it might trigger someone. The one problem I had with this app, is that I’ve come a long way, so I’m doing a lot better. I love the app for hearing people’s relationship advice and everything, but I don’t like reading about people who’s mental health is doing badly- because that sometimes sort of triggers me so I end up really sad. That sounds stupid and you may be thinking, “ok so just delete the app?” But I really like the other categories, it’s just annoying when someone posts something about mental health on something like the relationship category when it’s completely unrelated. Then as I’m scrolling through what I think will be people’s stories about relationships, I all of the sudden see one that’s about someone who’s in a really bad mental state. Yk what I mean? Hopefully that made sense, and I don’t have any other complaints. This is a great app if you want a safe and anonymous place to rant or vent to supportive people that will listen and give advice. I also really like that the chat is filtered for no bad words and moderators delete comments if they’re hateful or repetitively mean. That’s all, have a great day/night 💜
A Person That Tells The Truth,
I wish it worked
I had this app a couple months ago, but one day, it just kinda stopped working. Every time I opened it it wouldn’t load no matter how long I left it loading, updated it, restarted my phone, etc.. This was really sad because I actually loved this app. I could have someone to talk to, and once they actually started to let people reply with words, you could even get advice. I really loved it and nowadays I feel like I don’t really have anyone to talk to sometimes. Recently I re-downloaded this app but the same issue occurred and nothing would load. I can’t give it one star because it is helpful to journal and know that somebody cares or is at least aware, but I can’t use it anymore so yeah.

Edit: I have decided to give it one star because I’m really disappointed that it doesn’t work. I’ve lost a support system. I need someone to talk to anonymously but this app hasn’t worked for months or maybe a year. I feel so much more alone and also just frustrated because it was kind of a journal for me. But whatever I guess, just makes me pretty annoyed. Good if it works tho ig I mean 1 star is maybe a little harsh but I’m really frustrated
kit kat 223144,
This app is honestly so great
Ive never been a big fan of journaling which is what this app is advertised for but it’s so much better than normal journaling, the way it’s set up makes it almost impossible to create a toxic environment like most social medias, the fact that you can’t comment and can only interact with people’s stuff through gifs/stickers and hugs can be inconvenient but you can understand why it’s set up like that, plus the app is entirely anonymous so you don’t feel stressed to hide something or scared to share something in case someone you know irl will see it because there’s no way they could know it’s you! The different journals are awesome and the people on there are awesome and the way the app is set up is awesome! I really do adore this app for its wholesome, calm, easy to use environment
skyyy 🦋<3,
I think it’s an AMAZING app!
Blue Fever is a great app for mental support. You and other people can write prompts about things your proud of, things that haven’t been going well lately, or anything that’s on your mind. Others can reply to your page with a supportive comments, or if they don’t have anything to say they can hug your page just to show that they are here with you and might be struggling through the same thing. Also, everyday you do a mood check in and you can also look at other people mood check ins to see how their feeling. I think it’s a great app for support mentally and can also be fun! If your going to get it, get it soon, because this months prompt idea is autism awareness month!
PopcornLoverr,
Love the app, but it needs some fixing.
I love this app so much. It allows me to be completely honest about what I’m feeling or experiencing, but stay completely anonymous, and without any judgment whatsoever. I love that I can just type up what I’m feeling and post it and know that other people are feeling the way I am.

But... it’s just a little buggy. I’ll get a whole journal page typed up and when I click on the “fun stuff” gif button at the bottom, the app quits itself and the whole page I just wrote is deleted. Totally gone. Really frustrating when I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions and then I type it out and then it just... disappears. I’m not upset that I can’t ad pictures or gifs to my page, I’m upset that it deletes what I wrote. This app is very comforting. Please look into this?

5 Stars For this App
The app is really good and you definitely get support from anyone. I love how your identity is anonymous, it provides you with security and privacy over your identity. You can customize your identity while keeping it private, you can choose things you're going through if they apply to you to describe you. This app is safe for LGBTQIA+ individuals. I love the app because I'm able to get support and help when needed, and I can also do the same for other people. The app does sometimes freeze but no app is perfect, I do hope that issue gets fixed. But other than it, this app definitely a 5-star rating.
#Crazy #Crazy,
Needs Work
Although i love the idea, it has serious issues when it comes to content filtering. How is it that a post on a private journal is unable to be posted for inappropriate content when it is literally just me ranting about my 8th grade crush? I filtered out cuss words, i had used a few religious words that were semi in vain but otherwise that was it. If people are triggered by something, keep them from seeing it by keeping it out if their feeds. There’s no reason to be keeping it out of mine or preventing me from privately publishing it. Despite its advice saying I’ll be able to post whatever it was that’s triggering on a private journal, it lied. This app is a good idea but it really just needs to AT LEAST let me know what it is that i need to change instead of the notice coming off condescending (even as AI).
love classical music lady,
Doesn’t work with voiceover
This app has so much potential! I love the set up and it seems easy to use! The only big problem is that it doesn’t work with voiceover. I can’t look at anything the other people right and I never know exactly where the button to reply to things is, so I don’t want to be replying to the wrong thing. After I post it, I can’t really see what I posted! I want to be able to help other people in the community! Not just write my own stuff! The good thing is, though, that I can reply to people if it’s on my post so I can still interact with them, but I’d like to be more helpful :-) this app is so good! So much potential!! I hope that in the future, people can use this app, even if they’re blind 💛 I can tell you guys really understand what we need and what we’re going through ❤️
kenzieeeeee13,
Therapeutic and very creative!
I have been using blue for a long time now, and it has always been through texting, but the new app is amazing, and it is very helpful and creative! You can express what you are feeling, whether you’re upset or happy!

I love the “group hug” feature and how we can relate to other people on this app!

A few recommendations to make it better would be....

1.) Add a feature for people to have some type of “for you” page. So the idea would be to select a hashtag, without having to make a note, and being able to scroll through other people’s notes! It would be very handy.

2.) Maybe add a talking feature where you can add a friend, and if they add you back, you can talk to each other? I know this is difficult because we want a nontoxic and safe community, but maybe add key words that can be censored in conversations, and blurred out. Kind of like animal jam!

3.) This isn’t a suggestion, BUT IM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS! This app is amazing and you’re doing so good! Love you! <3
