Our official event app brings you closer to one of the world’s largest running and inline skating events. Equipped with valuable information and great features it’s the most useful tool for participants and spectators to get ready for the unique atmosphere.
The interactive HERE course map holds multiple information. The calendar points out the race week highlights. Other useful insights, FAQs, news and details are always at hand. Many other useful information and features such as the training plan with a focus on marathon beginners, the skating motivation plan for beginners and new selfie frames for the #berlinlegend cam complete the offer.
But there’s more waiting for you until the race weekend:
- Live-Tracking of up to 10 Inline Skating or running athletes (available on race weekend)
- In the HERE course map: routing
Notes:
Participants need their registration ID for full use, which they will receive with their start pass mailing shortly before the race weekend.
Few features such as the tracking service or sharing features require an internet connection. Especially in crowded areas, mobile reception cannot always be guaranteed.

Is it me? Where is the 2019 version?
Preview shots show “2018” and when I download, I get last years race app. Ive seen screenshots on Facebook of users who have 2019. What am I missing!? Search in the App Store only gives me this app. If I add search term “2019” to “BMW Berlin Marathon “ I get no results. Help?

Worked awesome!
I was nervous to use the app to track my husband and sister-in-law based on the reviews but wow! I was so thankful to have this app. The tracking was spot on the entire race and made it possible for me to see to them on the course and show my support. I love that I didn’t have to have cell service to still track them while I was out. I highly recommend this app to track your runner on marathon day. We were also able to see their running times/finishing time before official results were posted which was awesome for them post race.

Amount of time carefully setting up my app to track my son’s race. Do you know how frustrating it is to see his status as “not started” for the entire race? I thought something happened to him and being in the US I didn’t know how to check. I know of many others who sent runners there had the same problem. However, we couldn’t check during the race because it was the middle of the night here. I couldn’t call someone at 4 in the morning and ask, “What does your app say?”

Amazing app which made spectating fun and efficient. Very much appreciated being able to see where I was on the map too — this app was 1000 times better than London marathon app. I hope other races use this app as standard.

Tracking runners almost impossible to find
For an app that is supposed to let you track your runners, the option is almost impossible to find among all the unnecessary links and only after clicking all over the place did I find the right place.
Please make this app more intuitive for “visitors”: all we want to find our loved ones and be able to follow them on race day

Tracking is still not working for participants. I used my login information and it keeps giving me an error. This is AFTER the app update came out was downloaded.

Unusable App Crashes Immediately
Upon first launch, the app stayed open long enough only to prompt me for permission to receive push notifications. Then it immediately crashed. And now it crashes immediately every time it launches. It’s completely unusable.

App crashes - doesn’t work
I have downloaded this application twice. If prompts you to download the data and ays its doing 350+ processes. Then as soon as you touch “visitors” it completely crashes. I can’t even get past the first page let alone track loved ones.
