Boat Sim Elite takes boat simulation to a whole new level, sail and walk the deck of your huge ships!
Includes three large ships for you to sail, a large ferry, an exploration ship and now a cruise ship, each with with multiple decks.
WALK around your ships - take a walk around the deck (a challenge in rough seas!)
SAIL from the bridge - use the radar, map and compass to navigate.
Dock ships by walking outside of the bridge and looking down at the dock, use the bow thrusters to maneuver the ship carefully to the dock side.
Challenging harbors to dock at - maneuver the ship around a sea wall, or dock in busy boating areas.
Dynamic day / night cycle - beautiful changing time and conditions as you sail, watch the sun come up, and stars at night.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Adds requested feature, a new setting for max wave height (extreme waves on/off).
Waves will only be (randomly) huge if enabled from the options page (menu/options). If deselected waves will vary but will stay relatively calm.
Actual wave height is random, but this will enhance the experience depending on preference, and sets max wave height limit.

Thank-you for all the suggestions, we'll work to add those including additional ships (as suggested) and a moving map. We'd ultimately like multi-player and more moving ships, and severe weather.
In the meantime these older vessels can easily be navigated by dead-reckoning (using compass headings), the chart, and the radar that's already in each bridge and show the docks, as well as looking outside!
If you fall overboard simply return to the menu, go to options and reset positions, this will put you back onboard, it's tricky to prevent all cases of this as the steps are steep and you have to be able to climb them, even if the boat is pitching.

More big changes with this update, based on suggestions!
Cleaned up sailing screen, including;
New - 'Cmd' button revealing vessel controls, including a new anchor and lights buttons, as well as the horn, chart and menu buttons, cleaning up the main sailing display. (We'll add more lights, but for now added ability to turn on and off).
New - The bow thruster joystick has been moved above the main vessel steering joystick (bottom left) and made smaller, it's secondary to the main controls but still essential for docking.
New - The wheel in the exploration ship now rotates, as well as the wind meter (depending on speed).
New - Welcome text as you approach each island (with name of island), this helps identify where you are, so using the compass, heading, radar and position awareness, it's now easier to navigate, until a moving map is added.
Enhanced wake around boats, see the wake and water spray!
Improved waves - Waves more likely to be rough now.
New - Two new cameras, a 'ramp' camera on the ferry to show you the aft view to enable docking up to a car ramp (future update), and a camera on the exploration vessel to help with docking. These are fixed views to simulate actual cameras, and have an effect added to give the impression of basic external cameras. There's a new camera button within the new 'Cmd' options.

We're laying the groundwork to add more ships, they are coming imminently, our focus has been on enhancing the underlying environment, prior to adding ships.
The next update is already in progress, we had a extreme wave option added to this version however it made the player slide all over the place, including overboard, so we'll refine it and include it in a future update.
We'll have started to improve our site so please post your ideas and feedback.

This update brings massive changes, for a new enhanced experience!
You now start where you left off in each ship, so each voyage is different and a continuation of the previous trip.
There's now a compass in each ship.
A new method of climbing steps was used so the player can't climb off the side of the ship, but can climb steep steps around the ships (slow the boat if you struggle to climb, we've already corrected for the next version)
A different horn was added to the exploration ship.
Both ships are now in a single scenery level making it easier for us to improve the scenery in the next update.
We added a reset button on the main menu to reset the position of both the player and ships should any issues occur.
Enhanced the text on the main menu.
Changed the main menu music.

Room for more updates
So what I See a lot is please make the ships sink one it be awesome if that would happen like it’s a good game but please add crew member officers and passengers dui (idk how to spell it) but like also please add interior in the ship and please add a ship like the titanic or Britannic (please add some more ships) and like a dock so that you can scroll it and then the ship pops up and you go on a deck to go on it and a flare gun so when the ship is going down a rescue can come for you and then your good but like what I see is a good game but it has a lot of room for updates to make it a lot more popular and a lot better of a ship game also sorry my thing is really long I just have a lot of ideas that I think would make the game more fun than just walking around doing almost nothing

Great game but room for improvement
I really enjoy playing this game but there are some issues. The first issue is glitching. Glitching comes in several forms. The most annoying glitch is when the ship spontaneously rolls over, throws me off of it and then proceeds to bounce around or fly into orbit. That’s annoying. The other glitch prevents me from going through doorways or climbing stairs or ladders. The cruise ship is bad about letting me enter the bridge, the exploration ship will not let me climb the stairs from the lower deck anymore. Beyond the glitching, I would like to see greater access on the ships. Both access to the upper observation areas as well as below decks. That way, when I fall through that crack in the floor in the cruise ship bridge and find myself in a room with no windows and doors below the bridge, I won’t be trapped for all eternity. I think it would also be kind of cool to see the other ships. I could play one ship and leave it in a port and then bring another ship to that port and see the other ship I parked there previously. The ability to disembark and explore the islands without being ejected from a glitching ship first would be nice. Obviously the little universe you created in this game is limitless but those are some suggestions I would like to see implemented.

Please make it so the ships can sink!?
This is a great game but I’ve been reading other comments everyone wants the ships to sink when they strike something and I want that too also can you add more ships and a interior for all of them? The reason there is a star off is for the fact that the ships can’t sink add sinking ships and lll give it five stars but please add more options on settings and add maybe a ship like the WW2 YAMOTO I think that’s how you spell it anyways add more ships please and can you add a multiplayer and can ya make it so you spawn at a dock and the ship you spawned on is right next to you and there is a board that you can get on the ship/boat with and if you add battle ships can you put guns on them that are functional and what I mean by guns are turrets and if you add sinking ships can you add a flare gun so if you shoot the flare gun when your sinking there will be a rescue boat coming to your ship that will pick you up and bring you back to shore and please add passengers and like I already said interior for the ships but if you add passengers can you make it so they will walk around on the ship but they will stay out of the captains room but if they are a officer/crew member then they will walk around on the deck and go inside the captains room thanks for reading and sorry my review was soooooo long

Great game with tons of potential
This is a really neat game if you are into sims like me. It’s not action packed and fast paced, but rather relaxing and intriguing. I would personally love to see more camera angle options in the game (e.g. chase view) but that being said, I absolutely love the ability to walk about the ships. I would always like to see the map a little more detailed, such as waypoints, current position. This game overall is awesome and has tons of potential, really looking forward to future updates. Thank you developers!

Great game but...
I really like this games because it’s the only boat games where you can walk around... but can you please add some more ships I know it’s pretty hard to make a game and all but there is only 3 ships can you at least make a 5 or 6 then you would have a lot of options to chose from. And agin this is a great games and there’s a lot of good things... I also think you could add a storm mode where there is a tsunami to survive. That’s it that’s really all i would like to see and also thanks for lowering the price!

Pretty good game
It's a nice game. I found a glitch though. If you walk to back of the cruise ship, you can fall off the ship. My only other complaint is the cruise ship is a small old ship. Maybe add a bigger modern cruise ship and I'll make this 5 stars. Overall a great ship simulator.

Very realistic except for one thing
So, I love this sim, and it is fun to go and pretend to explore and stuff, but the least realistic thing I can think of is when I hit things accidentally, there is no apprehend damage. If you were it hit a rock at 25 knots then there would be a gash in the side of the boat, resulting in a sinking boat. I wish there was sinking, but I understand if Gary can't add it or won't. The point of the isn't to sink, but for a more realistic game, sinking is a big thing to add. Have a good day!

NO Sinking and Fall thru floors
I wish a crashed or mishandled ship would sink... Roll a boat in a big wave.. You should at least take on water .... I dunno.. The waves are well done, some of the walking around it rough.. Gets hung up, I mentioned how I have fallen thru the floors.. Usually at seams.. Like against a railing... Anyways I wish this developer would come back and update this this app... I think it is very nice but needs some love .. Fun but not if having no predefined missions ruins your day.. Th s program hands you the keys and walks away... Now go entertain yourself hahaha have fun

Could be better
It needs a ships like titanic need to be able to load stuff onto the ferry and you need to be able to walk to the bow I hope to see some of these in the next update

Love these relaxing boat sims!
November 2017 Update: Happy this app is still working with iOS 11. So fun to ride the waves and walk about the ship, and love the ocean sounds too. Thank you, Gary, for your kind response and really looking forward to future developments!
