I purchased the original bb magic and feel it unfair that I have to purchase the same material in the new apps. I should be able to download the new apps which contain the old material that my son has been playing with for 5 yrs since he was 6 months old. I was a loyal bob book parent until I saw this.

Well Done
I have 6 boys and homeschool. I have been using the Bob Books for years. This is good on so many levels. The older boys coached the younger ones through reading the verbs and articles. The various levels were good sending them through the material over and over without it becoming boring. The progression was just right. The activities really stretched the use of these materials they've given these little books a new life!

This app would be great, but there is a glitch in one of the lessons that prevents you from moving to the other levels. Please fix it :)

there are only three books available to read. you need to get the full version to read all the books. the full version coasts money though.

For Reading, it's a miss!
I'm quite disappointed. The Bob Books themselves are great. However, you cannot read the books in this app. Fluency and comprehension are fundamental to reading skill. The games in this app are very good for phonics and spelling. But, for reading, it's a BIG miss.
If you were hoping for the Bob Books, you won't find them here. The app should be called "Bob Pages" because the books aren't in this app...just some of the pages...3 pages to be exact. And, on those 3 pages, children have the opportunity to spell a total of 5-8 words, depending on the level: Mat, sat, Sam, had, cat, Dot, has, hat. The same 3 pages are repeated on each of 4 levels. Granted, this is a free version. But, there isn't the ability to read a single book? I expected one book in the free version, at least 3 in the $1.99 version and a whole set (level 1, etc.) in the $3.99 version. My understanding is that the paid versions just offer more pages, not complete books. Very disappointing.

This is by far one of the best educational kid's apps I have used. Great content and design. I will definitely be buying the full version for my almost 3 year old. Thank you!

Improvement
I got this app for my son because my sister had used these books to learn to read. I like the app but my son is having a little difficulty putting in the letters. He is only two but I wanted to introduce the idea of reading early and see how he does.
It would be nice if the app were able to use more than one finger to place the letters. Is this possible?

Needs Work
I love your app. I got this for my 2 year old brother and tried it out but I found a cinch. I think you need to add more books so the little one here won't get bored. Other than that, I think this a great app to help establish reading skills and help with curriculum.
