Great workouts and UX
I’m a convert. I’ve been doing yoga and various forms of weightlifting over the years and it’s been eye opening to see how weak I still was when I started these workouts. But my body has been feeling better than ever. I don’t have joint pain and other issues I’ve accepted as part of lifting and being in my mid-40’s despite ensuring proper form. Even though I have gone to the gym regularly, I started with the 12 week prep workout to learn the moves and proper mechanics before starting body weight 2.0 but I’m simultaneously doing the 10 week HIIT. These are *great* workouts. The prep is great in the morning to loosen up and the HITT gets me sweating. I dislike typical cardio and I’m a very routine person but even I appreciate the variations and how it gets my heart pumping. I’ve cancelled my gym membership.

The instructions and guidance are clear, I don’t need to stare at the screen to follow along and the tutorials before each workout are very helpful. I love that even Mark himself responded to my comment in the app.

And as a professional software QA analyst, I feel this is a high quality app. Very user-friendly, good user experience, and I’ve yet to experience any bugs. This is one of my only app reviews, I’m enjoying it that much.

Nothing else like this...
I have been rotating between multiple Mark Lauren programs for the last two years via his on demand website and DVD’s. The 90 Day program is great! YAYOG and YAYOG 2 provide plenty of options for those who are looking for 60 and 90 programs with easy to follow, challenging moves - that are offered for those of all levels. Mobility X, is great too! Mark’s programs are Pretty comprehensive from top to bottom. After years of lifting weights, and doing a ton of hard pounding cardio programs, I took on to the Mark Lauren programs...and glad I did. One thing I suggest, is to start and finish a program. You may not always get the crazy sweat, or muscle pump you think you should get from a workout. Give it the full 60 to 90 days. The results and functionality are more than impressive...

Love this new platform...very easy to navigate.

Did not renew subscription
I started this program last year and faithfully stuck to it for a few month until I realized this was not a good workout for me. I was disappointed and didn’t renew my annual subscription. This program is mainly for those who are super fit and flexible, not for ordinary people. There are no alternative moves if you are having difficulty, have an injury or just don’t want to do some moves that, frankly, look like they will result in possible injury if you can’t do them perfectly. I probably would have stuck with it had alternatives been offered in the videos - the response I got when I asked about it was go back to an earlier version of a move. Not the easiest thing to do when you are trying to keep up with a video workout- I expect the trainer to give me at least a little input on alternative moves - but there is zero. And eventually you just feel lost. Good points: There is a lot of creativity in movement, a lot of yoga moves turned into something different and challenging. I just didn’t think it was worth injuring myself in trying to keep up - not the safest workout forum.

Approachable and inspirational
Mark's approach to inspiring you to be your best is to be relatable. I started using his You Are Your Own Gym (YAYOG) DVDs a few years ago but then rediscovered his programs again with Mark Lauren On Demand (MLOD), which is available on his website out now through this app.

If you're looking for a virtual workout partner who sweats right along with you (especially during his YAYOG and Mobility RX workouts) and want to be part of the best online community of bodyweight enthusiasts, you've come to the right place. There are infinite variations for many of the exercises, and if you're wondering how or if you can adapt exercises to fit your skills or limitations, you probably can.

4,5 stars- best workout plans to take with you anywhere
Wish I could do 4,5 stars, since that is how I think the first release of this app looks. I have the original YAYOG app, which when I used regularly kept me in the best shape of my life. Cut to 6 months of not working out; and trying to get back into the speed of things, I was looking for some fresh workouts, and a bit of variety. This was the answer for me. The subscription gives unlimited options, the Facebook group gives motivation, and I am still saving loads over any gym membership. Also living as an expat in Germany it is really fun to have both languages available for the workouts! I liked the online on demand but really excited about future app updates.

Hoping to see some gamification updates and personal tracking options within the app as it develops. Thanks!!

Enjoying workouts but...
The workouts are great but I have gone to the site twice to download the training schedules. I put in my first name and email individually at each category. Each time it takes me to a screen that says to check my email. I never receive an email with a download. I went to Mark Lauren Suppot and the page does not work. I’d really like to have access to the downloads that tell me the order to do the workouts. There’s a ton of content and it appears to be well organized. The interface is elegant. They just need to make it easier for a newbie to understand the process instead of just logging on and running with it. I love that I can access it from Roku on my tv instead of just from my iPad.

A lot of bang for the buck!!
A multitude of different workouts to help you meet whatever goals you have. They are geared for the beginner or the gym rat that wants a change and results without wasting hours at the gym. These workouts really work, plus you will notice gains in flexibility and range of motion as well as strength, balance and just looking good. I can’t say enough about the value that Mark Lauren and his team add. It has been very rewarding doing the workouts over the past 4 years. You can do them in any order, wherever or whenever you want. You won’t regret it.

The best workout routines (50 year old Mom of 4)
I’ve never been fitter. I started the YAYOG app on 2016 and jumped at the chance to join the Mark Lauren community to up my game. Started the 90 Day Challenge in Nov. 2020. Am now doing the Daily Workouts before going to Level 2 of the 90 Day Challenge. I have new visible muscle tone all over. I’ve never looked like this. I’m so pleased. And I feel great. The exercises are easy to follow (with short tutorials) and they are varied. I’m never bored. Always challenged. Mark and Lea respond to our comments on the exercises. I love the feedback. All this keeps me coming back every day.

Fantastic app and even better support
I’ve been using the Mark Lauren workout since his book came out along time ago. This app has been wonderful because the workouts are so easy to follow and really comprehensive. For some reason or another I wasn’t able to log into my account on the app and I had to reach out to customer support. Lea was so prompt and helped me get my account back. The app is fantastic, the method is really effective, and customer support is exceptional. Thank you for creating such a great product!
