Bookbot is a book reading app for practicing readers. Use this kids learning app to access a virtual reading assistant that will listen to your child read out loud, helping them as they go along. Also included in the app is a library of specially written books that will guide your child through their very own reading journey.
Bookbot is an English learning app with a difference: it actually listens to your child as they learn to read, highlighting the words and stopping when they make a mistake. Readers can either have another go at reading the word correctly or listen to the word being read by Bookbot before they continue.
Bookbot has been developed by a team passionate about creating the best learn to read app that is based on scientifically proven techniques. • Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

GOOD CONCEPT
We read with our son, but we find that he needs more practice. This works for him. The illustrations looks good. It would be better if it worked without the internet.

Great Concept and Many Features
I haven’t been getting any of the issues that other reviews complain about, and I actually had the chance to use the app for our child. The app comes with many books for children in it, and it encourages you to read aloud to your child or for your child to attempt to read the words. The text on the app is perfect and it isn’t too small nor too big. One thing I would like improved is the loading times and more features. It could use more GUI elements and more organization. Great app, and I will use this app and hope it’ll get updated and releases new features!

Great free reading app for kids!
I downloaded this app for my son and daughter. They are required to read at least 20 minutes every night and I've found instead of buying books constantly using online reading is a nice option. My daughter had really enjoyed the variety of books, and it will take her quite some time to work her way through them all. The app is super easy to use for the kids and so far we haven't had any issues what do ever. We will continue to use and I highly recommend it for other parents! Available great kid safe app in today's world!!

A Great Reading App
We’ve downloaded the Bookbot app recently and been happy how it helps our 8 year old daughter when she reads. We did sit with her at the start and noticed that it took a few goes for the app to understand what she was saying. Also the room has to be quiet while it is used. We’re pretty happy with it so far.

Good concept
I like the concept of this app but would like to see a feature where the child tap the word or be said before they make a mistake. My son is dyslexic and he was frustrated when he knew that he didn’t know the word but had to say it wrong before the option to hear it would appear. Also, the voice doesn’t seem to pronounce some of the words correctly.

Best kids reading app!
I love this app and you should too because it contains a bunch of kids reading books that kids can read. The app is very simple for kids to understand with book bot and I love the concept.

This app is absolutely wonderful! My children are dyslexic and this has really helped them become more interested in reading! I would highly recommend this app to any parent :)

I pre-ordered
Do not download this app. I'm having the same exact issue as Tjformore but I pre-ordered it and paid for the lifetime subscription. I’ve sent several emails but have not been helped. It stays on the logging in screen for a very long time and then it says that I do not have access. I’ve reset my password and it still doesn’t work. At this point I just want a refund.

Doesn’t work
It’s a great concept and I’ve been waiting for this app to become available. But it doesn’t work. I have tried creating an account and was not able to with Facebook, email or google. I really wanted this app to work so my son could try it. I tried app support and it just redirects me to Facebook. Please fix this app!!
