Great People!
I already loved the regular varsity bound app, and decided to give Varsity Bound Gold a try, but decided not to continue paying for it since I’m still a high school student and don’t have a ton of money since I can only work on the weekends. I emailed them asking how to cancel. They told me, and also asked why I was making the decision to cancel. I told them, and I couldn’t believe their response! They said they appreciate me spending my limited money on them, and gave it to me free through this summer! These guys are awesome! A great app, but more importantly there are genuinely good people on the other end. I recommend the app for anybody!

Awesome 💯
This app is unbelievable - it truly is like ESPN for high school sports. It has every score, result and stat across all the sports I care about and get this...it’s actually all accurate because the coaches and athletic directors put the data in. Plus it’s brought back a lot of good memories for me because they have all my high school stats and results (07-10)!

Not user friendly
This app is not easy to use. I’m usually pretty good at figuring things out on my own, but almost every time I try to do something in it, I spend time trying to figure it out, ask a friend if they know how to find it and often have to send a question to the company. This is our school’s second year using the app. I had to search for how to upload an updated physical and how to buy activities passes. You would think that would be under “Tickets”, but it’s not. From all the questions I see from other parents from our school, I am not alone.

Okay but could be better
It’s great to be able to buy tickets in the app and the stats feature is great. The schedule keeps you in the know.
Where there could be improvement: I should be able to set a favorite sport or team or player so that when I enter the app, that information comes up first. As it functions now, I have to click 2 or 3 times before I even get the team info I want/need. Please upgrade the user interface experience for future parents/fans.

Takes forever to do anything with this app
This app is not user friendly. Just now, spent an hour trying to add my husband (one of the ‘guardians’ for my daughter) as a user. I’ve had to use this app for years and hate it. Use to be issue logging into it and uploading docs. That does seem better. But Navigating through things is confusing. Difficult to add users. My husband is now a user in the app for my daughter and can’t see the activity ticket I just bought for my daughter - which has been transferred (assigned) to her. Wish I didn’t have to upload anything to this app or use this app. 👎

Great when it works
I really enjoy this app when it works. The past couple weeks to a month it’s constantly asking to create my profile. This has already been done and when I go through the steps and hit next it just stops and I can’t get in to view any stats or schedules. I had tried emailing the address listed on their physical website but I haven’t gotten a response back from them yet.

Incredible Resource!
Just downloaded this app to assist my work as a radio correspondent for high school football in Iowa. This app is extremely user-friendly and provides all the data you need on your favorite high school sports! Highly recommend for those in the sports media and super fans alike!

Used for football season and basketball season, always experience issues; app won’t load often times and if it does load and I click on Teams it completely kicks me out of the app, randomly one day when I opened it asked me to Create an account (I’d already had an account and purchased tickets in it for 2 seasons), now when you click Iowa it won’t let you click next. I’ve deleted and reinstalled to no avail. Hate this app.

Great app!
Love having everything in one place. Daughter is multi sport athlete. Love that all communication, schedules, driving directions, scores, and stats all in one place for all sports! Have nieces and nephews competing at other schools and irs super simple to get their schedules too. Just awesome all around!

App never loads in a timely manner
This app is terrible at loading. Sometimes it takes over 2 minutes for the content to load and it’s not a phone or connection issue. I have a brand new iPhone and 5G network and internet at home. The app stays in loading mode until the advertisement comes, and then starts over each and every time. Not a fan at all!
