• Renamed the loggable variable “DSMX SAT's Lost Frames” to "DSMX SAT's Frame Losses” as called by Spektrum
• Now for fastest operation when re-enter into the Spektrum Integration, the position (menu row, sub menu row, displayed value) is the same left at the Integration exit
• On Spektrum Integration, Governor menu, moved the "Throttle Out MAX" after the "Throttle Out MIN" as is the normal order
• Added in Spektrum Integration, under Diagnostic the possibility to select as loggable the five RX parameters (DSMX SAT1 fades, DSMX SAT2 Fades, DSMX SRXL Fades, Frame Losses, Holds) and the two new parameters "Rx/SwTailGain" and "TailOut"
• Added in Graupner Integration under Diagnostic the possibility to select as loggable the two new parameters "Rx/SwTailGain" and "TailOut"
- Updated all schematics of wizard page 4 related to "Spektrum SRXL" protocol, with added SAT's as optional, for schematics of Brain, microBrain, microBrain2, miniBrain2, Brain2, Brain2+BT, Brain2-HD, Brain2-HD+BT (Brain and iKon)
- Increased the Minimum Value for "Rescue Pitch Max" from 50% to 60% because at 50% to some user with very low RPM the model doesn't raise but loses quota
- Improved electric noisy field immunity of Spektrum SAT's connector (EG: if a sat cable is connected to SAT1 or SAT2 port but without any sat connected on the other side the antenna done by cable don't read wrong data's)
• In the Log reversed the polarity of the "Rx Aileron" & "AileronRotationRate °/Sec" signals so, now correspond to the polarity of the "Transmitter setup" panel
- Now when a hardware error is recognized during startup sequence, Throttle Out is blocked to MIN for security reason, (it is not even possible to program esc's with the stick)
• Added for Futaba telemetry a control of the MAX Current read from Futaba/Robbe CURR-F1678 sensor to 163.8A to avoid possible overflow
• In Spektrum and Graupner Integrations reduced the minimum value of overall Cyclic gains from 10 to 7 (for micro tri blades heli) like in Windows software
• Now the new download protocol used for Events, download all the 200 last events and not only the last 175 for all kind of "2" units
• Activated the new download protocol that no more work at a fixed low speed but work proportionally to the PC speed also for "Recorded Logs Download" from unit
• Activated the new download protocol that no more work at a fixed low speed but work proportionally to the PC speed also for "Recorded Vibration Download" from unit

3.1.001
2017-06-12
• Added management of the new "HoTT + telemetry" protocol and the relative connection schemas
• Added Graupner "Telemetry"
• Added Graupner "Integration"
• Ex Bus telemetry: further revised many parameters names that now are more obvious on TX (to update names, is needed a new "SENSORS AUTO DISCOVER")
• Ex Bus telemetry: It is not possible reduce the servos frequency below 92Hz: Fixed
• Ex Bus integration: released new version of "brain.bin" file and PDF readme instructions (downloadable from MSHELI website)
- New faster autorotation bailout ramp from the governor engage (50%) point to the target RPM (pay attention if you have high "Bailout Ramp" value!)
- Governor: improved the overspeed control with nitro's
- New Boot Loader 1.7 Now is possible put the unit in Boot Loader mode shorting the TX & RX of SYS also with longer cables and also shorting CH4 & CH5 at power up (mainly for Brain2 units with Bluetooth and without the SYS connector)
- Saved in the Brain memory some new model information's (Model type, Main Blades type, Tail Blades types, Cyclic Servos type, Tail Servo type, Motor type, ESC type, Battery type, etc.) to simplify/automate/speed up the setup of the unit
- Choosing from the first page of Wizard, one of the listed Tail Servos and/or one of the listed Cyclic Servos, if the unit is in factory reset, the values in the Wizard panel 2 "Servo Setup" are set to the specified values
- Choosing from the first page of Wizard, one of the listed Models, if the unit is in factory reset, the values of the Wizard "Swashplate Type selection" and "Blades Size Selection" are set to the specified values for that model.
- Separated Servos chart for cyclic and for tail in the panel 2 "Servo Setup" of the wizard
- Now doing a double click on the row of the servo in the Servos chart, the servo chart displayed values are automatically set in to the Brain
- Added in the Servos Charts Align DS530 & DS535 standard version and "M" version and MKS DS1220, DS1230, DS1240
• Now Factory Defaulted unit record/log by default ten flight parameters at the maximum sampling rate
• In the Log reversed the polarity of the "Swash Aileron" signal so, now correspond to the polarity of the "Transmitter setup" panel
• Added a check to avoid using the same radio channel for different Calibration Channels (Dials)
• Revised variables names: RxRoll->RxAileron & SwashRoll->SwashAileron
- If radio channel assigned to "Tail gain", is disactivated with the checkbox "Is set in software", the same channel also if it is present but "greyed out" can be used for other functions
- In Advanced->Setup the active Setup is now highlighted
- Added the new "README_for_HOTT_telemetry_and_integration_for_BRAIN.pdf" in the MANUALS page
- Updated version of "README_for_ESC_datas_log_and_telemetry.pdf" (ESC telemetry work also with Futaba T-FHSS used by T10J & T6K-V2)
- Updated version of "README_for_Jeti_integration_for_BRAIN.pdf" (use of menu key for incremental value, added graphic page for vibrations)
- Also Tail servos signal is now turned off before a firmware update to avoid displacement at the start of the firmware update that sometime happen (for update from this firmware on)
- Improved/increased/completed the Blades Size range displayed inside the icons of panel 10 "Blade Size Selection" of the wizard
- In Basic->Servo Setup: added the new kind of dotted border around the icons if the relative default values are changed from the user
- In Basic->Blades Size Selection: added the new kind of dotted border around the icons if the relative default values are changed from the user
- In Basic->Flight Style Setup: added the new kind of dotted border around the icons if the relative default values are changed from the user
- Advanced->Common->Governor, added calculators for main gear and for tail gear calculation (as in Wizard)

lucasmmeira,
Crashes all the time
The app is good, however you can not use it as it crashes all the time. Don’t try to update using the app otherwise you will kill the unit. The log also does not work well. If they fix the bugs, it will be great.
Sabciu,
Needs Work!
So you spend the extra hard earned $$$ to buy Bluetooth functionality, download the App, and when you go to use it, it just doesn’t work. Very very frustrating. I was able to connect to the device, but get dropped within 1 min. Please fix the Alert (G/cannot communicate with unit) and the dropouts. People expect for these expensive toys to work!! BTW, both Brain2HD and iKon2HD behave the same. They have the same issues, so if you think buying an iKon will yield better results, been there done that!! I guess for now it’s back to using a PC only!! Hopefully these defects get fixed since we did pay for them!
Noterepeat,
Why is this app so bad!?
I have a brand new IPhone 13 pro and this app freezes, shuts down and will randomly close for no reason. After a half hour trying to use it, I went to the site to get the computer version. Guess what… it’s only for windows! No mac version and it’s 2022!? I had to install boot camp on my Mac to use 1 app, annoying. Dear developers of this app, fix the problems or stop charging $10 for something that works 50% of the time.
Shane Quale,
Crash Crash Crash
This is the absolute worst app yet to date on my phone. I can’t remember what exactly I paid but if I remember, it was around $8. Do not buy this junk that does not work. An old Pentium 100 moves faster than this app and the Pentium 100 didn’t crash often. Absolutely ridiculous to the point where I understand why everyone flys VBar. Time to make the switch. What a disappointment to the hobby. Huge big thumbs down to the developers at MSH. 👎🏻
J SMC,
Works well.
The app works well. When I first used it it would constantly crash, but with the current version it have been very nice to have.
Trailbilly,
Love it
It crashes sometimes but I was able to program my whole Trex 700n dfc with it . Brain 2 BT . I’m sad to see all the bad reviews on this app but it has been updated frequently.
Divejay,
Works as it should be
Got the app this weekend and used it for first time... new to Ikon brand. App works just need to follow instructions and once you are done reboot heli.
rferretous,
Crashes
Crashes on gov page when trying to view rpm reading. Throws g/sync lost... then index out of range error. Wish they’d fix this. As a software dev myself, I’d expect this should be a trivial fix. Too bad as the fbl unit otherwise is great. A bit dangerous though trying to set max / min throttle in the gov when a 500 sized heli is plugged into the computer via usb, so I was hoping that I could set that via Bluetooth.
Bootstheman,
Flawless
The app works great. Can’t beat it for making changes at the field or doing firmware updates at home.
JustPlaneChris,
Complete waste of money!
I had high hopes for this, having bought the Bluetooth module for the Brain unit. But his app is complete garbage! It locks up and crashes every time I try to use it. I want my money back for the app, but I guess I won’t get it. And the money for the Bluetooth was a waste too.
