Who is Brainblurb?
Brainblurb is a startup studio focused on connecting people who have an interest in starting new ventures and are looking for a team to do it with.
By 2030, our goal is to have supported more than 1000 founders on their journey towards entrepreneurship. To do that, we realised there was a need to provide a platform for connecting people outside of the traditional, in-person startup studio model.
We’re an international team headquartered in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
What’s the purpose of the Brainblurb co-founder community app?
Our goal with this co-founder community building app is to empower founder to founder communication by limiting the role the studio plays in that. We’re here to provide a platform, technical support, business advice and mentorship. What we’re not here to do is slow down your growth by putting up a lot of red tape.

Unlike other venture building organisations, with the Brainblurb co-founder community app, you have full authority to approve and reject co-founder applications based on your own criteria. As a startup studio we’re happy to think alongside you and broker introductions to potential co-founders if you wish, but we’re not here to build your team for you.

One of the key additions to our latest release is the introduction of the mention functionality. We understand that effective communication is crucial in any social platform, and with the new @mention feature, connecting with other users has never been easier.
With the @ character, you can now mention other users directly within your posts. When you type '@' followed by a username, our app will suggest relevant users based on your input, making it effortless to tag and engage with specific individuals in conversations.
Here's how it works:
Start composing a post in the Brainblurb app.
Type the '@' symbol, followed by the username of the person you want to mention.
As you type, our app will provide a dropdown list of relevant users based on your input, helping you quickly select the intended recipient.
Choose the user you wish to mention from the suggestions provided, and their username will be automatically included in your message.
Users will be also notified, that you have mentioned them in a post.
Why is this feature useful?
The mention functionality opens up new possibilities for collaboration, networking, and engagement within the Brainblurb community.
