BP—Great Practice for an Old Spanish Major
I am an ESL teacher who majored in Spanish 40 years ago and I need to use it or lose it. The best way to acquire language is not to study it directly but rather to use it as means to learn about a content area. These topics are fun and I always learn a something in every video, including how to explain content to students. Our brains are poor at remembering facts but amazingly efficient at retaining (BrainPop style) imagery. It makes the Spanish incredibly understandable. The App format is easy to use—I would only suggest that you offer a an additional slower speed. Love what you have done for my students and me over the years—THANK YOU!!!

As a homeschooler, the Brainpop apps are one of the first things I recommend to friends who interested in homeschooling or trying to expand their children's knowledge in a fun way.
I have tried BrainPopJr, Brainpop, Brainpop película del día, and they are all fantastic. We use them as fun brain breaks throughout our school day. The kids love it. My husband and I are always impressed with how informative the short fun videos are. The Kiddos are learning so much!
