Just what I needed
This app gave me access to a stripped down (no gifs, whistles or bells) old school blog room and text chat platform in a community devoted to privacy. It took me awhile to figure out where and how to plug in but once I did, I found confidence that I’m taking the right steps to stop information leaks - especially those related to identity. This is important to me. The app requires no personal identifiers. Accounts are currently free. They include free file storage and photo storage. IMO, the developer is trustworthy with his handling of my device and location identifiers. I will be able to bring my family into private social spaces and group chat threads without big tech stealing our contact associations and all of our private info. I’m so glad I found it.

Privacy is the watch word
This application allows private encrypted communications like Signal with the added advantage of group chats. You can also have private groups (rooms) and upload files and photos which are kept in encrypted space. No tracking. No ads. Great replacement for families currently using Facebook but want complete privacy and the ability completely delete their account at any time.
The latest update helps maintain your privacy even better! Uploaded photos have EXIF medadata stripped so if you later use that photo in Twitter post there will be no identifying data attached.
One the setting page, the app can also check a “Man in the Middle” for any website you visit.

Best Social Media App! 🌟
Brax’s social media platform is fantastic! All information, i.e., chat, photos, files are encrypted. Your data is safe! Also, Brax keeps no logs. The platform also integrates the ability for users to produce live broadcasts, including both audio and video. Finally, the new SocialVision feature enables a user to set up a private space, much like a website, and even earn revenue if desired. If you value your privacy and like engagement and fun, this app is hands down the best!

An outstanding privacy-focused app in a non-private world.
Brax Me is great! No ads, simple messaging, everything I could ask for. The UI is a little bit clunky but it does the job well. My favorite feature is that there's no email required for signing up, just a username/password and you're ready to "Brax" away! It seems like every app now-a-days is requiring an email to use it, and the fact that Brax Me doesn't do this is an enormous breath of fresh air.

Not sure what the point is
It’s set up it’s like a 1995 chat room, but its an app, and it is private. At best I found it difficult to navigate, that said, I have friends hardly as tech savvy as I am, that would not be able to join me on this app to communicate anonymously.
I know the developer worked hard and I love his yt videos, but I will wait until the technology enters the 2000s.
