With this update we are launching Workshops on Breadcrumb — a fresh, curated take on guided learning.
• You will see a new tab in the navigation bar to view workshops available on the platform (The profile has moved to the top right!)
• As a learner you can express interest in attending a workshop right from your iPad
• As a parent you can approve their request from your parent login, which lets them attend the workshop
• 10 minutes before the scheduled time for the workshop, you’ll be able to join the workshop
• Workshops happen over Zoom calls, which is integrated into the app so you need not login separately and type out the meeting and password each time you want to attend a workshop
• You can spend your entire summer dabbling between projects and workshops with this new update

Revamped onboarding experience:
- The app now lets you explore learning content in it, without signing up. If you like what you see (which we are sure you will!), you can choose to proceed with setting up a learner’s profile.
- Hello Parents! You no longer need to switch between the app, email and laptop to set up your account on Breadcrumb. You can do it right away here from the iPad app. And we support social sign-ins now!
- Simplified navigation on the app with just 3 focussed navigation elements --Explore, Schedule and Journal
- User guides to highlight various features of the app. You can skip and revisit them at a later point as well.
Note:
- Learner profile created in the app have to be tagged to a Parent’s account within 24h
- The Parent interface is still on the web, just the account setup can be done from the iPad

- Students can now filter contents of a Collection by Learning Content type - Do, Watch
Improvements
- Feedback page, that appears after completion of a Learning Content has been revamped.
- The Profile page has been revamped as well. Many “confusing” details and components have been removed, leaving just the essential information that helps you in your discovery of learning
- Prerequisites flow has been tweaked. They will not be presented when you are scheduling a Learning Content. Instead they are presented to you when you are ready to start learning. Of course, they are just a suggestion from us, you can still skip and proceed with the Learning Content that you want to Learn.
- In the Explore tab, the Collections and Playlists are now referred to as “Explore on the go” and “Explore one by one” respectively
- Audio recordings can now be a minute long, earlier it was 30 seconds
- Materials required popup has been tweaked to accommodate the increased length in name of materials
- The issue of graph not displayed properly in the “My Active Learning” tab of the profile page has been fixed

App Store Release Notes
This is an exciting release for Breadcrumb app with a bunch of new features, UI updated and bug fixing. Here is a summary of the key changes done.
Improvements:
* Global Search : Search is now on the top navigation bar of the Explore page and can search for tags along with names. There are quick search options like most used tags and latest added Learning Content
* Congratulations page now has a new modal popup and celebratory note. Try completing a Learning Content to check it out.
* New icons / labels to represent to Do, Read, Watch and Listen Learning Content across all the screens
* Learning Center selection UI has been refreshed
* Schedule is now the first screen after selection a Learning Center
* The Explore tab now has just two tabs for Collections and Learning Paths (previously Playlists)
