SylverHeart,
Hopping for Hops
I love this game. The beer bottle customization is awesome, and the game is pretty straightforward, however, there are a few things I would personally like to see. First off, aesthetically, I think you need more customization options for the bottles. I see a lot of lookalikes when I’m playing Hops or Not. More decals, shapes, colors. An easier text system. Placing letters one at a time while hoping you don’t simultaneously rotate it and make it bigger can be frustrating. Secondly, maybe again, also aesthetically, why do we even pick what flavors we put in our beers if we can’t even see what we put in them after that? I would like a way to see what I’ve put in my beer for later reference. Otherwise great game, I spend hours playing it every day, usually whenever I have even a moment of time. It’s a beer brewers paradise in Brew Town!
ForeverConfused1,
Overall good game BUT...
Now this game could easily be a 5 star game but there are a few details that need tweaking there’s a great design here and a good layout here but there’s just somethings missing. At first this game was very addictive I lost three days to this game it just sucked me in... But the problem for me personally as I advanced further was that 1) the bottler when everything is maxxxed just way too slow 2) once you start to get up there like oceans hops level brew times are pretty long which even having everything maxxxed still takes almost ten minutes sorry just to long be cause now it’s forcibly making me wait with nothing to do which progressively makes me want to play less 3) overall I think that there should be more cash upgrades and that all buildings need more upgrades as well because I mean at this point I’ve got billions and nothing to buy 4) Also I’d love to see some property expansions in the near future for more plots something similar to let’s say “hayday” to keep adding to our breweries... so idk this is just my top 4 I guess I have other suggestions but for now this should do... so if you decide you wanna fix this and maybe throw in some challenges or something for more game time interaction and work on those upgrades and expansions I’d def give this game 5 stars
Iamthursday,
Got ripped off of $2.99
The game is fun and I can tell that the developers had a great vision and put a lot of work into making it into something fresh and interesting. There are still a lot of bugs that hinder the game play and make it frustrating. Like so many games now, watching adds is not just something that you have to do occasionally, but has become a major part of progressing the game forward; annoying as it is, it cannot be avoided with this game or any game. The rub is that the game frequently “drops internet signal” and the adds cannot be watched, which means the game basically stalls until you reboot the app.

There is a feature where the “caps” collect in a kind of ban and you can buy out of the bank them for $2.99. I had played the game enough and enjoyed it and wanted to contribute and support the developers, so I was happy to spend the money for the feature. The in-app purchase did not come through. I tried rebooting the app and "restore purchases" and still nothing. I contacted the developer via the app and directly with email and have not heard a single response. I finally had to get a refund directly through apple via dispute. I would have been happy to give this game 5 stars for creativity and game play, but ignoring paying customers and disregarding obvious bugs is not a good way to do business.
Nema_K,
Good but room for improvement
I like the game and have spent a lot of time playing it, but there’s definitely room for improvement in some aspects.

There are some things that aren’t quite clear when you first start off, and while the tutorial does a good job starting you off it’s up to you figure out some things on your own. For example, I didn’t know you can upgrade your hops until about 2 hours in. I could have advanced to the next stage a lot earlier but nothing ever was mentioned about upgrading them. Also, when upgrading your brews I’m still not quite sure what selecting the different flavors does. I’m not sure if they make a difference to the overall quality or if it’s purely cosmetic. Also, while I love the ability to design your own bottles/cans, the label designer UI gets in the way of the bottom row of colors for me on my iPhone 8 plus. I know you can pull the UI up to see more options but I haven’t figured out to pull it down to see the bottle better.

All that being said, I do still like the game a lot and would recommend it. The developers do seem active and to be working on it so I hope a lot of my relatively small complaints get fixed eventually
Mighty Thumbs,
🍻SO EXCITED🍻
You don’t know how excited I am about this game. For years I’ve been waiting for a good beer themed game. This is my dream come true and the developers delivered a fantastic concept. Perfectly mixed together brewing with simulation and even put idle/clicker elements into it. Very clever!
I am astonished about the detailed bottle customization options - you could sit for hours making a bottle design, if you’re into that. Plus the rating competition is fantastically unique, very cool to see other people’s creativity!
Beautifully designed, nicely done, as well the sounds! So far everything runs smooth.
There is nothing to complain here, no ads being forced upon you and game is free. What more can you ask for? :D I don’t care much about tiny bugs, that will be easily fixed, no game is 100% perfect after launch.
You guys nailed it! Thank you - happy brewing!
Earth Versus Soup,
Fine, but just fine.
Bottom line: this is an Egg Inc. Clone that isn’t as well constructed. I feel like the game has potential, but it just isn’t unique or engaging enough to keep your attention. There are also a lot of issues with touch accuracy, especially concerning the drones and cars. You can tap and tap and tap directly on drones and never have them get credited, likewise with limos and trucks, but drones are the worst offender. Its biggest problem though id that it isn’t interesting enough to keep installed. I’m not sure if this is more of an issue with progression or just my own enjoyment with the game, but it feels like very early on you’ve already seen all there is to see. Moreover, if you can rate designs, how do you see what your designs have been rated? I’m not sure if it just wasn’t explained well enough or if it’s a half-implemented system, but it doesn’t seem like there’s a place to do so.
ThatDude18,
Fun Time Waster
I love this game, and have spent quite a bit of time on it, that being so I’ve seen some problems that could be fixed.

It’s a bit bland after a while and to me at least hops upgrading seems to not do anything.

The game itself is fun for a while, and the graphics are quite pleasing to look at. The basic gist is that you open a beer company/brewery trying to make a profit. That’s really just all for the story.

Bugs: Every one in a while a car will get stuck on my bar building, Delivery Vehicles will randomly upgrade or downgrade, My beer bottles will sometimes return to the default setting, Deliveries become available even when no vehicle is present, bottles will not appear in the bottler when I use it sometimes.

Now, some suggestions:

I feel like the flavor choice in the lab should have an impact on sales, as of now choosing peach and cheese together does nothing, and that seems a bit odd. I also wish there was more customization options, for more than just bottles. It was great fun making the labels, and I feel like more could be done there. I also feel that the tunnel at the top could be a gateway to an expansion later on after hitting the highest hop type or something.

It’s a fun game, try it out why don’t you?

Easy and Addicting
Loving the game. Super addicting. I would like to suggest that when we move to a new hop that we don’t lose all of the money we made from previous hops. Even if it decreases it by 50%. I love progressing, but it does get incredibly redundant having to build up from the bottom over and over and I understand that that’s the point. Other than that I love absolutely everything about this game. Would like some new customizing as every time I switch to a new hop I lose it all again.

I would like to suggest the ability to perhaps go back to previous hops and keep increasing skills at each individual hop to max it out. It would be nice to flick between hops an progress and eventually build an empire brewery by mastering and maxing out each hop level.
jimbobourbon,
App developer throws hissy fits
Anyways, it’s a pretty cool game for about a few days. Then, once you get the hang of it, it gets stale pretty quick. The bottling process is inane. No matter how much you upgrade the bottling plant, 95% or more of the game will just be wasted holding/tapping the bottling button. Once you’ve “beat” the game, don’t bother going for the new hops. It just sets you back to square one, but nothing changes except for the name of the hops.

UPDATE: Played the game for a while, ended up spending about $20 on ridiculous in-game purchases. Left a review with a gripe about what needed to be improved. Instead of making an effort to improve the game the developer threw a b*&#%-fit and told me to stop playing because the game is free.

Congrats on your vast wealth of downloads, super impressive. Maybe spend less time sending snide/snotty responses and more time using the feedback to make a better product. That oughta make it a lot easier to get through all the feedback and reduce the amount you receive...
quinwils,
important
I love brew town!! it’s currently my favourite game. I just wish I could buy more breweries or brew more than one beer at a time in the brewery. i would like it if you had to buy new land and you could buy buildings and brew houses to put on your new land. another thing I would change is the fire sale. you can only sell it for 80% off. that’s fine, but I wish I could change it to like 60% or 50%. my very last thing is the bar. if I had 3000 bottles of one type of beer, I have to give it all to my bar. I don’t like that. I wish I could give them only 1000 bottles.
this is a great game and I totally recommend it but I just wish they would give the game a little more pizzazz! (I have recommended this game to many people and they love it too!!!)
