I created Bubbles to entertain my daughter for a 12 hour plane flight to Korea in 2008 (She's 16 now!). I hope it provides some entertainment for you and your kids too.
My favorite is to play Bubbles with my kids before bed. We try to draw letters, numbers, or just fling them about. Tip: Flip your iPad or iPhone upside down to slow the bubbles down for easier drawing.

Bubbles are now a little more lively.
They fade over time and a parallax effect is applied. These are small tweaks that I don't think will be noticeable unless you really look for them. But I do think they subtly make the bubble feel a little more alive while helping to make new bubbles "pop" out a bit better.
If you are experience the crash on start problem please email me [email protected]. It haven't been able to reproduce the problem an need your help.

Once again it's simpily about bubbles.
Somewhere along the way, in the name of "make it better", I lost what I liked most about Bubbles. It's a simple app meant for small children and parents. It doesn't need in-app-purchases, fancy animations, and options screens. That's all gone now.
Bubbles 4 is just about bubbles. Drag to create & tap to pop. I've made the animations better for little kids. It's now easier to see POPS! And new bubbles arive in style instead of like giant slow jellyfishes.
I've also added a special drawing mode. My favorite way to use Bubbles in collaboratively with kid in lap. Often we try to draw letters and shapes. This is now much easier in special "slow bubbles" mode. Flip your iPad or iPhone upside down and the Bubbles will slow down and stay in place making drawing much easier. "Shake" to clear them all, or turn your iPad or Phone to make them drop off screen.
Bubbles 4 is also a rewrite that modernized all the code to keep Bubbles working many years down the road.
I hope you and your kids have fun with it.

Original Bubble's artwork is back and set to default (you can switch to claymation artwork in the iOS system preferences). I'm sorry that most of you didn't like the 2.0 release; I'll try to make more gradual changes now on. Please post in the comments describing the enhancements that you'd like to see. I paid for it
I paid for the extras and now I can't even access them! My son loves the leaves. I think I should still be able to access my paid extras. I'm not very happy right now. I enjoyed buying extra "bubbles" I understand getting rid of them, but I'd still like to access my previous purchases!!
Now, 6 years later, I have a 10 month old again and miss the fun falling items. Balloons, leaves....😫

Great fun
I played this game from when I was an infant when the iPhone came out and I have loved ever since it is relaxing, and when I babysit the kids love it. If you give this one star then think about if you are giving this a fair score, like if you are 20 and thought this was going to challenge you intellectually. Great idea, I would call this a game for 8 and under and an activity for 9+. 100 stars from me.

This game has been great for 2 of y kids and the first thing I let them do on any electronic I wis they would make it a screen saver and an update as gesture control needs to be off for kids to use it’s I would love to see options like that added and a Pw to close the app as it is great for kids but I really don’t want a 2 year old using anything else on my iPad or less occasional phone

I agree with everyone else - I got this for the kids and had purchased the extras. My kids miss the others and won't play with it now that it's just bubbles. Don't take things away. Perhaps they did it so they could stop updating it :-/ Deleting this app!

Great for toddlers
My nephew loves this app and it’s a great distraction when he gets frustrated. Also very meditative for adults. I’ve had some parents and grandparents play with their toddlers and they continue after the toddler moves on.

Where are my in app purchases?!
This was by far my kid's favorite app with all of the different items we purchased for popping...now all of my purchases are gone and it's just super lame bubbles. I spent a lot of money on those add ins and they just disappeared with this update. Please bring back the other one or refund my money so I can invest in a better app :-/ super disappointed.

I loved the app from the beginning. You should have asked your consumers what they thought before converting back to "just bubbles". I made many of the in-app purchases and I know have an upset 2 year old asking what happened to the balloons.
I wish you would have left it alone because now I spent money on things I can't even use.

I am a pediatric nurse and the kiddos I take care of love this app. I was shocked, SHOCKED, to find that purchases I had made disappeared. Sorry, but that is theft! My kiddos loved the balloons the best and now it's gone, along with several others I purchased. I sent you all at least $5 for this app and you basically threw it away! Give it or the money back! THEIVES!

Loved the app until the recent update. My three year old is extremely disappointed that he can no longer play the other bubble types.
I recommend either bringing the in-app purchases back or refund those of us who spent money.

Just opened this app to get it ready for my niece this holiday season and I can't access any of my upgraded screens. I want my upgrades back you thief! How in the world do you think it is ok to upgrade without allowing for previous in-app purchases? Better to stop updating the app! Scum!
