We’re launching in Hawaii, built and operated globally — with the original concept having emerged in the Rosario Islands with the best crew of dive buddies :)
During the boat ride back from our morning we all discussed our favorite apps, what we wished for, and how we wanted to share it with more of our friends.
We knew the dive community needed not only a way to record their dives digitally but to share them with the world, get more people diving, and promote the one thing we’re all passionate about — ocean exploration and conservation.
Thanks to our group of dive enthusiasts from all over the world we’re beginning to bring dive community together in a social, fun, and positive way.

Best dive log app
I just started using Budy and I’m loving keeping track of all my dives and freedives. The best part is being able to upload my pics & vids to it. They always get lost in my camera roll but this way I have them organized and it’s very easy to find a specific trip or dive. I was telling a friend about a recent shark dive when it clicked that I could show her actual photos on my Budy app. Technology is awesome and this app really captures all the things I need in a dive log app.

Really liking this app
I’ve downloaded Buddy about a week ago and I’m really impressed with the interface compared to dive log apps I’ve used in the past. The satellite views used for the mapping part is a nice touch that has been super helpful when trying to plan for dives that others have already been to. This app has a lot of potential for avid divers all over the world.

Best Dive App EVER!
This truly the best dive app ever. It is so cool to be able to see your “Buddies” and all the cool dives they are doing. You can upload pics from your dives and all your peeps can see your fun adventures too.
The map feature is cool being able to pin point your dive locations on a map (or not if you have a secret spot you don’t want to share!)
Also having the ability to link to your Venmo is super convenient so you can send the dive crew a tip, because no one carry’s cash anymore.
I absolutely love this app and tell all my students to download after each class. That way they can see the pics and videos from their class!

After years of keeping up with dive logs in random iPhone notes, this app is exactly what I needed and offers so much more! Great place to connect with other divers and learn more about the dive community globally. Can’t wait to connect with some new buddies when I travel next!
