Steve Baker,
Broken in iOS 14
App was great, but no longer works in iOS 14 — due to the changes that Apple made related to photos permissions. Now, when you select one of your photo bursts, it will instead only import a single one of those photos, so you end up with a single-frame GIF. 🤷🏻‍♂️ App needs to be updated.
Nanashi Satori,
Easy to use
After using 2 other burst apps, this app was a breath of fresh air ... The other app either crashed or the interface was horrible ... This app was simple to use ... Highly recommended ... A few features for updates that the other apps had was export at full image res (not really a necessity but would allow for cropping without loss of res), deselect specific frames, and I haven't seen this implemented yet but it'd be cool to be able to select a portion to yoyo instead of yoyoing the entire burst ... Still a great app because it works and is easy to use ... Thank you!
indecider,
Way too much fun
Burstio makes it too easy to spend hours trying different speeds and directions to make gifs and movies for Instagram and my friends. If I had one wish it would be to be able to create from manually added frames (sometimes one or two of the frames from a burst is too blurry or misfired) but I love it as it is!
pianodork,
Brilliant!
I figured somebody had to have created an app for this already, and it was the first one that popped up and I'm so glad it was! It's perfect. It's simple, it works, and gives multiple options for export. I now have a brand-new tool and a reason for taking burst photos.
LuisÁngel,
Really Useful app
It's reeally simple but it's easy to understand and for only 99. I wish it could have an option for at least to crop and to choose which pictures will be on the gif, but the app it's ok for what I need it.
SIDETRAKT,
Love it.
It's simple straight to the point for knuckle heads like myself. It's the photo bursts missing link... now if you could edit with it and make mini movies synced to music that would be nice. Only keep it straight forward like the one now.
jrhelgeson,
Easy to use.
If you're going to post these to Facebook you need to export as video. Facebook does not allow/support animated GIF playback, UNLESS you post the GIF to a 3rd party site like imgur or tumblr, then link to the animated GIF from the Facebook post.
Kevin Watterson,
Good GIFs, poor export
Two stars for creating good GIFs, but no more than that because it comes with zero instruction and documentation. This is a problem because the GIFs only appear as still images when sharing them, and there's no indication of how to fix it or why it's happening. Call me old fashioned but I think apps need to come with some level of built-in support.
Yolanda Hodoor,
Easy to use!
Easy to use. Does exactly what it advertises without getting in the way. Provides useful outputs. You and your friends (if you have any) are gonna love your gifs.
unsatisfied Skye,
missing basic feature
I wanted to be able to upload my Burst photos to Instagram, but 10 photos isn't enough to make a video that fits Instagram's 3 second video minimum. You'd think the app would allow you to LOOP the video (not "yo-yo", but loop) but for some reason it does not, rendering it completely useless for the one purpose I download it for.
