I remember using this app when it was first announced n that time i ended up deleting it because its extremely restricted. I understand why but it’s not worth getting to know anyone if you aren't allowed to speak from your heart while building your profile. I was hopping the fixed that. Its a huge no for me. I am Intersex/ Trans fem and Asexual Neutral. It is a nightmare for a person like me to find a partner in these apps. I found someone of the same spectrum n i cannot even talk to them cuz of a pay wall. I find it insulting that i cannot modify my own profile either. It literally feels very cold n controlling how they present u. I feel like I'm just another steak in the market. I would rather stay in grndr. They don’t force u to pay for chats n you are free to do with your profile as u please with minor restrictions. Yes theres a crap ton of a holes n rude men there but it doesn’t limit me from what’s important. No pay wall for communication.,whats the point of this trans space if we aren’t allowed to talk to each other?

Good things come to those who wait
I have left a couple notes for the developer and been pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of their response and also their clear interest in making this more than just another application, but a service for the transgender community. It’s a relatively new app and there are a little things left to be worked out, like the tape is a bit small and it is not extremely well organized just yet but the developer is very active and always looking for guidance on what we would like to see happen with the application! He certainly don’t get that in many places on the App Store! Usually you get canned responses to the most common complaints and the problems never seem to get worked on. This is the other side of the spectrum. Although the program is relatively new I’ve had good contact with the number of the members and I’ve made friends. That’s what I was looking for, so for me this has delivered!😊 it’s growing and going through growing pains but with somebody so dedicated to make this work and it being such a great service to the transgender community I encourage you to be part of the journey.

Really unfortunate
I wanted to enjoy this app but it’s just not there. I live in SoCal and even in this populous area, everyone is tens of miles, if not hundreds of miles, away from me which just isn’t realistic for dating. Not to mention the scarcity. I was active on here for two weeks sending messages and giving likes before anyone even got back to me. I have only heard from 3 actual people in over a month on the app.
Lastly, a majority of whom I encountered were cis het male “trans chasers.” I was asked why I don’t have “girl pics” even tho I’m a trans guy, and “what kind of trans I am” by numerous people. I know the creators can’t control persay who is on here and what are saying, but this wasn’t really a safe space to connect with people in my community.

Security is amazing!
I feel bad for all the negative reviews this app gets. I tried it out myself (albeit for a short amount of time) and I was very satisfied with the amount of security and privacy it provides! I read through all of the user agreement and privacy policy and I can confirm it’s easy to understand and is very comprehensive. Why I deleted an app wasn’t a fault on the app’s behalf, I just realised that I wasn’t ready for this kind of thing and got cold feet. Once it came down to actually messaging someone in my area I got really scared, especially if they had no photo for their icon. Then I realised I had no icon myself, but when I went to change it, I was too scared to put my real face. Even when it was obscured by a face mask and the eyes were blacked out, I still felt nervous. I’ll come back once I’m more mature and ready to tackle internet dating. Thank you for all the effort you put into making this app as secure as possible, it does not go unnoticed, and I really appreciate it!

Chat is very difficult
The chat function of this app is very hard to use. Messages are always scrolled off the top of the screen, so for a while I thought I wasn’t getting messages when I was told I had them. The moment you start to respond, they scroll away again.
Text is also hard to write. It’s a small text entry area, and as you fill it, it is impossible to go back to see/change anything you’ve written. Even if you delete over the text you typed, you can’t see or get to what you wrote earlier as it won’t scroll into view. The only option is to delete all the way back to the beginning of the message and type again.

Strange Choices
This app makes some strange choices by making you have to choose choices. Instead of writing in things about yourself you have to pick choices from a list. It is irritating for hobbies, especially if you have niche interested, and damning when it comes to identity. The lists are big, but they don’t cover everything. It’s seems like a bad choice to put you user diverse user base into boxes.
Also there were very few accounts that weren’t blank within 50 miles of me and I live near a major city.

Crap all there other apps are just clones of this one.
So I had this for about 2 years, had maybe one or two real chats with real people. other than that just fake account. The app doesn’t let you pick your location. So just enjoy not knowing where people are and where it says your from. Complete defeating the purpose of meeting anyone close to you. I already know you will see the same exact profiles from there other apps purely for the fact they are scammers and just wanna front that they have legit users on there app. ⭐️ one 1 star I would give it a -100 ⭐️ but you can’t 🤷🏻♂️

Really disappointed. Could have been great
When I saw someone made an app for trans people to date I literally immediately downloaded it. I was SO excited, we need something more inclusive than what exists.
However, this app is literally garbage. Speaking both as a UI/UX designer and a trans person just trying to use it, I haven't come across an app this difficult to use, unintuitive and straight up ugly in years. I really really hope they step up their game, it could be a huge service to our community.
Developers, please please do. I'm even willing to help if you reach out.

Don’t mistake automated “flirts” for actual interest
Upon creating an account you will receive multiple inbox messages. After a certain limit (three?) you will need to purchase a VIP membership.
When I corresponded with one user, they told me they hadn’t sent a message personally. It appears their message of “interest” was automatically generated based on the message saved as a “flirt.”
This is very misleading behavior, yet somehow typical of dating apps. It’s irritating that they are targeting the LGBT+ community with their questionable and unethical techniques.

Poorly designed, no one within 100mi of me
First off, there are too many gender choices. Transgender, transgender person, mtf, transgender woman, transsexual woman. Those are all separate options that could apply to me, which means people are likely to get missed in searches by using different terminology to describe oneself.
But that’s just silly clutter. The real problem is that no one is on here. I mean no one. Even if I expand my interests to 18-40 with more than half the genders included, the closest person to me was 150 miles away. And I live in the Twin Cities. Like, for real? This app is dead.
