Bureaucracy personified
Three + hours to get into Chile because of multiple document checks that were already verified prior to boarding in origin country, and online with the Chilean government health pass system. What a waste of time an frustration for all. Then to wait for a PCR Covid test by having people stand in crowded “superspreader” lines of mixed arrivals ( from all over the world) is the epitome of dumb + dumber. The chances we all just got Covid waiting in the SCL airport are HIGH! And now we have to self report? I’m reporting that you could make this a lot smoother and more efficient and safer.

Horrible experience
I have traveled to 33 different countries in the last2 years and I have to stay that the arrival at Scl airport has been the worst probably of my life . Flight landed at 7 and we didn’t get out of the airport until a little over 1pm the flight is already long enough to then have to spend 5 plus hours on long lines all standing with thousands and thousands of people with no kind of social distancing. Unbelievable !! They really need to do better I am hesitant to come back here due to their incompetent system

Never again
Like most other comments the procedure after landing in Chile is ridiculous. Three hours in queue city waiting to confirm what had already taken an age to provide. Surely Chile can come with something better. Sad to say after 30 plus visits to this lovely country I will not be making any more until it sorts itself out. Entry to the US or near neighbours Argentina is a doddle by comparison. Sort yourself out Chile or are you simply providing work for the unemployed

App not working
I received the initial instructions and number key yesterday after arrival at SCL. I was able to set up the app and answer the questions yesterday. Today the app has not been working all afternoon and this evening. I have spoken to several people this afternoon at our hotel that also tried without success to access the app. The front desk at our hotel said that the system has probably been overwhelmed by the volume of users.

Not only do I strongly agree with the ridiculousness of the process, ie 3+ hours checking paperwork multiple times when you couldn’t even get on flight without all of the paperwork in order, two PCR tests in less than 2-3 days, but I can never get the self report app or website to do anything but spin. Absolutely pointless.

Ridiculous
Just pointless and ridiculous government regulations. Same paperwork has been checked 6 times in the airport. Spent over 2 hours just to past all their stations, disregarded that all on the plane was fully vaccinated and did pcr test before arrival. Taken the amount of covid cases in Chile all those measures are pointless and only make life harder.

Most annoying and useless app ever
You literally have to submit your symptoms during 10 days since your arrival in Chile and you get daily reminders on your email if you don’t.

Todo queda en blanco y se hace imposible rellenar el formulario. Hubo varios días que no lo logré hacer porque la aplicación se quedaba guindada

In LA the crew is asking to download the app before going to Chile but the app is not working tried with 3 cell phones … it looks like the AA crew in LA is giving wrong information to passengers going to Chile
