Love the App been using it for 2 or 3 years now, and I love the fact that when I need God it works. However I have had it for 2 or 3 years and it hasn't been updated.... Like at all. Same old look, and when I try to turn people on to the app because it is so great they often don't end up using it because it's not exactly user friendly and it looks old... If you take the time and play with app you can pick it up, but most people aren't going to take that time. My only wish is that you guys update it. Apps are the future and this is a great app at the core it just needs some TLC. Please, please, please update this great app.

Love Skip, app NOT user friendly
Have been listening to skip since 2011, but have not listened much using this app because it just does not work well. It doesn’t download well, once sermons do download, it does not have a way to pause so if your 1/2 way through a sermon and need to come back later it starts the sermon all over from the beginning. I thought it was a glitch, but nope have reinstalled app 3 times now, still have same issues. The older app worked much better. Skip is awesome, app is NOT

Sermons are not updated consistently
The app is not really user friendly, and also the sermons are not updated regularly. Every week and weekends teaching should be there but their not.
The midweek series are random and only teachings from a few weeks to a few months are up and also the weekend sermons are not consitent

Previous App was Awesome
Skip used to have an app that was easy to navigate, play, pause, skip ahead, go back, download, etc. Unfortunately, a few years ago it updated to the current app which is difficult to use for listening and not very useable for download. I’m blessed that we can still go online to listen, but I miss the old app. :(

Skip is Amazing!! The App is Horrible :(
The archived messages do not download properly; you cannot listen to an entire sermon without it looping back to the beginning every 2-3 minutes. The App doesn’t track what you have already listened to. I would love to be fed by God’s word daily via this App as Skip is such a great teacher. Hoping this will be fixed soon!

New App doesn’t work well
I’ve literally listen to hundreds of hours of sermon on the old app. The new app hardly ever downloads sermons correctly and the function/interface need a lot of work. This app is unusable and I hate that.

For scripture teaching on the go, this app is awesome! I have been using for over two years now and love how easy it is to find whatever study you want to do. Not sure why apple is saying this app won't be supported with the next upgrade. I pray it never stops working cause I have only scratched the surface of the teachings available. Great job Skip and blessings out to Calvary.

I love the content but....
The app itself is almost unusable.
It can't be paused with the earbud switch - including when answering the phone.
When you do pause it (by dragging it out of your pocket and manually using the controls on the app), it will 'backtrack' several minutes when you restart it. One day I must have listened to the same five minutes over again four or five times due to phone calls interrupting it.
Downloading new content should work in the background, instead of failing if you try to listen to another message while it's working... Or if the phone goes into lock screen during that time.
It takes forever to launch the app - or it won't launch if you're away from an Internet connection.
As previously mentioned, it doesn't advance to the next message when it should.
It's a pity, because I'd really like to listen to a lot more from Skip, but I can't do it at work in good conscience because it requires almost constant fiddling.

Listening can be frustrating
So, the app just updated....it had been a bummer right off the bat. When you look at a series you can't tell which one you've already listened to. When listening to a series you can't go back and re-listen to a part if you missed it. While listening to a teaching I wanted to go back to listen, I unlocked my phone and the teaching started again!
On a good note it is easy to navigate and it is appealing to the eye.
