Great idea! Lacks in performance.

Great concept. I had thought it would be great to have a Mahjong scoring app using the camera. To my surprise, here it is. Once a hand is entered correctly, the scoring has been accurate. Unfortunately, the tiles are rarely recognized accurately. Takes more time to correct it than it does to score the hand manually. Not sure why the app sees kanji 1,2,3 as kanji 1,1,1 and bamboo 6,7,8 as 4,7,8. Seems like you could program the app realize that 4,7,8 is probably 6,7,8.

Hope it improves in later updates.

Doesn’t recognize my tiles at all

Great concept however doesn’t recognize my tiles at all. I am using 36mm Japanese tiles for an autotable. They look very normal.
