Candid Connection is a fun, safe and anonymous social network which encourages open and honest communication while protecting the privacy and identity of all users. Once you register your Candid Connection account, you will select topics that interest you to ensure that your feed is full of relevant posts. You can view/comment on posts in your feed and can submit your own posts as well.

bring the old app back
The old candid app was amazing. Everything from the layout to the content on it was perfect, even when it wasn’t. This app is ok at best but could never compare to the old one. Not to mention that it’s completely dead. The most popular posts on the app are +2 years old and there’s nothing new. I checked every category as an interest of mine yet under the new tab it’s empty. Everyone misses and loved the old app, we need it back.

I Love Candid!
The old Candid helped me so much with my depression; Meeting new people and making friends was always hard for me but on Candid I made a lot! While this new design is not all the same, I understand that it can take a long time to get everything set up right. I’m so glad another company jumped on the band-wagon to give us back Candid. I’ve seen so many 1-star reviews just complaining and being so ungrateful so I thought I would help you guys out. Yes, there are no direct messages yet, and yes, the load times are unbearable, but could you reviewers do better? This company stepped up and they are working hard and answering every review to ensure they get the job done. Be happy that we have a company that really wants to help and won’t take down the app again! Thanks guys.

Oh man
I’m truly upset with what Candid has turned into and I wish it was just like or very similar to the old app. I found out you can’t even talk to individual people so what’s the point if it is so hard to make friends and communicate? Also a huge problem and the reason people don’t like this app as much as the old one is that your not able to make groups. I want to be able to feel like I’m in a group of anonymous friends talking everyday. Lots of people who have a hard time making friends in person will feel included when they join a group and will have a better understanding of how to make friends in the real world. All I ask is for this app to have more capabilities

it’s okay, kind of slow and laid out weird. A suggestion i have is custom groups like the old candid had so you know where to post things. or at least add a “random” category because that’s the most used. I think you should make it exactly like the old candid again and it’s getting way better than it was when you had to have facebook. Better updates will get it more popular again so we can use it like before. thank you for listening to our suggestions and trying to change it back.

I loved the first version so much! I understand why it had to get taken down, but I hate that it did. Right now this app is completely useless to me and probably to everyone though. Reading replies to ratings, I see devs saying that the old stuff will get partially implemented. But you’ve been saying this for months. When?!

Group feature?
Good app but I’d like to see a group feature where you can make and join groups for specific tastes, like the type of thing that there was on the old candid. I just think it would be nice to have groups for more specific things like anime, drawing, book series, paranormal activity, etc. please consider this as a feature!

It’s a good start
It is like the old app in away. It’s a great start. I would personally like if there were groups like the last app. That way when we want to see a specific group/tag we can do just that. I know you guys are a different company and I would like to say though it’s not exactly like the old one it’s better than nothing. I hope you take this it consideration.

Not really good
The original candid was much better I was able to meet people from all over the world and even became friends with them. I shouldn’t have to make and account and put in my email address to post something anonymously. I definitely believe if the app was able to anonymously post and talk to people the way the original candid did as well as not needing to make an account to post then this candid would with out a doubt be 5 stars. Please go back to the original candid.

It could be better
The way candid looked in 2017 was way better then it does now. Also it felt more user’s friendly and just felt so comforting and lively but now it doesn’t, everything takes too long to load, it feel likes it’s lacking something, but being back DM’s too.

Original Candid
I downloaded the original candid back when it came out and it was amazing. Talking to people all over the world without revealing who I was. It was amazing and educational. Now the app is dead thanks to the removal of some of the anonymity features back then. Even after Facebook sign in was removed people never came back. It’s unfortunate but I don’t think it’ll ever be what it was again. Rip candid.
