Car Spotting by MotorTrend is a real-world gaming app for anyone who has ever seen a car and wished they could park it in their garage. We have created a custom algorithm to enable your camera to recognize hundreds of cars including 17 car cards for you to collect in your virtual garage.
Features:
Augmented Reality car capture using machine learning to recognize and capture cars in the real world using your phone’s camera.
Virtual garage featuring target cars to seek out and capture. Once captured you can unlock these cars in your garage and view specs including an overview, stats on power and performance, and pricing.
Instructions:
Touch the camera capture icon to access the capture screen.
Simply point your camera at one of the target cars and look for the meter at the bottom of the screen to fill up as the car is identified.
Once captured, target cars in your virtual garage can be unlocked to view information and stats about that vehicle.

Great execution!
This app is accurate. Well, accurate enough. The app gets more confused when scanning more rounded cars like old VWs, other more curvy classic cars and the like, but for most cars it’s very good. The algorithm for identifying cars is really smart and will give you results the majority of the time. I wouldn’t say 99% correctness, but compared to all its competitors, this apps performance way outdoes their car spotting accuracy. That makes this app the go-to car spotting app

Very accurate
I have to identify a lot of random cars for my job, and I don’t know cars well at all, but this app gets me 99% accurate all the time. I’ve cycled through several similar apps, and this is my favorite. It’s functional, accurate, and best of all, consistent. The only thing that could improve is if it would help me figure out a vehicle’s year, too.

Good but needs update
I believe that this is a genius idea. So whoever thought of this well done. The reading is on point. But with that being said you need to add more cars to the list. You only get a few amount of cars to collect. If you guys could possibly add in a LOT more cars to the game that would make this game one of the greatest apps of all time.

It’s great and fun but everyone is having one problem you. Can’t create a account it says that it’s already been used even tho it’s never been used the email so fix that pls

Already competing with my friends
We work in an area with lots of high end cars. There’s beer money on who gets them all first! The machine learning algorithm is way cool, it’s like an AI the way it learns..
