How Does It Work?
Each Cardio.io Sensor uses radar technology originally developed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs - the same place responsible for the missions to Mars and other exciting space exploration.
Mars is MILLIONS of miles away from earth… so it’s very important they have accurate radar.
The way it works in your home is that the wall-mounted sensor scans the whole room with a constant radar wave. The radar is sensitive enough to pick up the tiniest vibrations in your body, and as a result it can detect your heart rate.
It can cover an average-sized room (10 feet by 10 feet), and tracks the heart rate of most people flawlessly.
