I am not the first to get irritated that this useful health monitor does not make it clear how to update the alerts. My dog had one high breathing rate, and ever since, I get a daily admonition to contact my vet about a (null) high breathing rate. I have e-mailed the data to my vet, which did not cancel the daily alert, and I don’t want to erase the data history, so we can look at it over the long term. Hopefully, Cardalis developers will reply (I also e-mailed the company), but as this is a minuscule part of the parents company’s work, I don’t think they care. The app isn’t even mentioned on their website, though the medication with the same name is.

Good measuring breathing rate, but not to track it. It keeps all the measurements jammed into one big line graph. So if you take it daily for months, it becomes impossible to see the actual numbers or even trends over the past week or month- which would be the most useful to see if there's an issue or for upcoming Vet appointments.
You can't change the date range for the graph either. I tried emailing myself the results but it just sent a picture of the same graph. So you would need to clear it out every month to see anything decently. Wish the app would have a date range function or even an additional page where it lists the actual numbers.

You can't change the breathing rate limit. You have the option to, but there's no way to get the keyboard part of the screen to retract to press "done" and save it. If you quit the app it does not save it.

I had been dutifully recording my pet's breathing rate nearly every day for 2 weeks in advance of a vet appointment, and then with a single click, I managed to unintentionally clear all of the history without any warning. Now I have no record of his breathing rate for tomorrow's appointment. The app designers should make it more difficult to erase history, with warnings or confirmations or something. This is so frustrating!

I had 3 dogs with heart disease (all chihuahuas). This app has been so helpful both in times of crisis and for general monitoring of my dogs respiratory rates. I monitor regularly but at times when I think my dogs rate is higher than usual, it allows me to monitor easily. When my dog went into congestive heart failure, it directed me to seek emergency veterinary care. Lastly, it allows me to monitor trends in my dogs breathing rates.

I love the app for monitoring my dogs breathing rate. However, he has a heart issue and I must keep notes. I went to the vet with my graph, breathing rate list, and I thought I had notes. Well there is absolutely no place to get the notes. I was so upset. I do not understand why this app promotes itself as helpful to pets and owners and gives the option to type notes and then does not allow you to access any notes you have typed or saved!! This needs fixed. How terrible!!

This app is designed to do exactly what it should and that is to help me count my dog’s breaths and keep track of the data over time. I did not know such apps exist and better yet, it is free! I cannot complain because it sure beat what I was doing before so thank you!

My dog’s Cardiologist and Vet highly recommended this app. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had MVD and I found this app very easy to use and my vet loved that I could email him the info. It will give you a day to day line graph reading but you will need to delete the older info going forward. If your dog has MVD or is in CHF this is a great tool to let you know their discomfort and danger zone.

Thank you for releasing an app update yesterday. Upon using the app we’ve noticed the app continues to provide a notification alert (a red circle with a 1 on it) that cannot be removed. We’ve tried everything with no success. Please review and release an update to remove.

This app was very helpful in measuring and tracking breathing rate. The notifications to remind me to do it every evening we’re great. I also greatly appreciated the ability to add reminders for medication. It’s not a fancy app, no bells and whistles, but extremely helpful when I really needed it. Thank you.

I had been religiously monitoring my dogs resting breath rate for the last few months. All I needed was to record numbers and changes which this app was useful for.
The app updated itself a couple days ago, I did not authorize this update. When it updated, it completely erased all data! Numbers for the past few months gone! My dog is at risk of heart failure at any moment and it was important data that I had in that app.
I would give this negative stars if I could, I am just so frustrated by this
