Bugfixes: We've convinced the Bosses to respect your boundaries, so feel free to take a breather outside of Oasis and Cave without worrying about getting attacked. Your safety is our top priority! Also, Dr. Brown - er, I mean, the Old Man - promises not to swipe your precious ember for any more of his wild time travel experiments. Unless, of course, he really needs to make a quick trip to the future for pizza. Everyone knows the pizza in the past is terrible (pizza not [yet] included in game).
Balancing: We've done a little tinkering to make your gaming experience more enjoyable. We've lowered the Gun uses to 1, but don't worry - it's now so powerful that it'll obliterate any enemy in your path.
And for the Tentacle, we've lowered the uses to 4 - it's still a formidable weapon, but now you'll have to use it a little more strategically.
Oh, and the scanner? We've made it permanent so you can use it to your heart's content (or turn it off on the credits page if you want a break from all that scanning).
Ember and Scanner: Not only will these items help you on your quest, but they'll also give you a little boost of confidence. Use them wisely and enjoy the feeling of being one step ahead of the game (and your enemies). Just don't get too cocky - nobody likes an overconfident adventurer who thinks they're invincible. Happy scanning (and burning)!

Keep clicking those monsters to move forward in the game, but beware - each click brings you closer to the void of nothingness. Clicking the monster is now the same as clicking the player cards.
And if your deck runs dry, don't panic - it's not the end of the world (yet). Just click on the discard pile to reshuffle and get back in the game. Think of it like taking a bathroom break - it's necessary, but you don't want to do it too often or you might miss out on all the action (actually you get dizzy and the next battle will be significantly harder).

Fun game! And now saves progress!
I found this game randomly. It really is a lot of fun. It’s easy to learn and play. It’s an enjoyable deck builder that has enough depth to be interesting but not so much as to be overly complicated. In other words, there aren’t 5,000 cards and so many complex choices that you end up feeling overwhelmed. It’s very straightforward. So far as I’ve played the progression seems very intuitive, and it’s relaxing to play. It’s also very good on battery.
I appreciate that the developer monetized it so incredibly fairly. In the description the IAP seem to be only optional (I’m not sure where in the menu you even buy them). I’ll gladly be purchasing to support the developer once I play the game more, to support such fair monetizing with no ads.
I also appreciate that the developer responded to feedback. I had mentioned that it didn’t save progress, and he quickly updated it to save automatically after each recruit phase. So now I can play here and there when I have time on a work break. I appreciate a developer who cares about the users.
I do wish it was in portrait mode, as with accessibility issues it’s harder for me to play in landscape mode, so I usually avoid such games. But I like this enough to play in landscape mode, in small doses at least.
I recommend this cute and funny indie game. Thank you developer for creating something fun and unique!
