Grudunza,
Great app for card games
This is a really great app for being able to play card games on your iPad. I travel a lot and like to bring some solo-playable designer card games with me, like Lord of the Rings (the LCG), and Shadowrift and others. This will be much better than cramming them into my suitcase. The developer seems very eager to update the app, which is great.

Thinking long-term, I would like to see this change from the framework involving the different "boxes" to be able to just import cards and make decks and play with decks from all imported cards. As it is, there is no way to use anything from one box with anything from another box, which can be limiting. I'd also like to see a lot more space available than the 480 cards (120 per 4 boxes). But regardless of that, this is really nice to have and very much worth the price, IMO.
YT2000 pilot,
Great app, but limited card pool size
I love this app for being able to play the Lord of the Rings LCG game that I own. The biggest downside to this app is the fact that each game box is only limited to 1000 cards. I know that sounds silly, but when you see how enormous the card pool is for LOTR, this size starts to look pretty small in comparison. If the size limit could be increased to say 5 or 10 thousand this would greatly help make this app a 5star rating in my book 🙂
David T Wilcox,
Terrible UX
Can’t import multiple photos simultaneously, had to try importing 120 photos individually through a tedious multi-step process. Then making a deck was the same terrible experience, where the card images were too small to see and the scrolling UI gave no indication where you were in your card box. After that, the game table was too small to read the card faces. How is this supposed to be used? I’m on an iPad Pro 12.9, so it isn’t screen size.
Toomanybarts,
Amazing app
Just played first game of solo Marvel Legendary.
Have custom playmat as table background which makes things really simple.

Have also got lotr lcg scanned in and have played several games.
This app is pretty amazing if a little clunky to get used to.
Having said that, once you've worked it out it's pretty straightforward
Kava08,
Great functionality, wish the import was more solid.
This app gives all the features and functions you need to play/playtest most any card game.
Just as if you were at a table with the actual cards themselves.
My only beef is that the import requires you to add an extra "card" to store the card back image, which, if you need multiple styles of card back, can get annoying.
Over all, this is a valiant effort and I am very pleased.
NetEeyore,
Simple Fun
I love playing board games on the iPad, but many of my favorite board/card games aren't available. This opens up a lot of opportunity. It is not a high frills tool, but with a small investment in time you can use it to carry your games with you and even more fun, play online.
The tool doesn't mange the rules, etc. but it allows you to play as if you are the table with someone. With the online features my brother and I can play some games across the country!

Mike, keep up the good work, there is room for improvement, but you have a great start, and the basics are covered well. If you are considering buying it, keep in mind, it takes a little work to gets started, but once you have played a few games, you will find it was well worth it!
Lorigayle,
So Happy to Have Found This
I have imported Onirim, Urbion, and Friday and love being able to play these games on the iPad when there is no table space for the real thing. I made good scans of all the cards and then corrected and enhanced any images that needed tweaking using PhotoShop. Yes, this took time, but for me the improved card quality was worth the effort. Some reviewers have been disappointed that the app doesn't do more of this work for you, but if you have the skills and want more control over the appearance of the cards, it doesn't get better than this.
µseek,
Scan cards in, and manipulate them like on a table
Good app for what it does. Excels in solo play, and non-hidden cards.

Functionality for multiplayer: hiding cards in different drawers for multiple players, and network multiplayer functionality exist. But really those seem tacked on. e.g. when playing a deck builder (e.g. Dominion), the 2nd player can’t do much while the first player is moving. Therefore slowing the game of Dominion down a lot.

Tried games like Onirim, and Friday (solo games), and they worked magnificently. The base set of King of Tokyo cards (not expansion) work well too.

Application is strictly a card importer and manipulator. No AI to speak of. In its primary function, it lacks fit-and-finish. Layout is utilitarian. Easy to make mistakes when importing decks. Interface is garish. Still, features work; app doesn’t crash. Developer has commendably added features to app, but there’s no sign of interface polish. So that is probably not happening.

I’m pleased, overall. Priced right. Boardgamegeek has geeklists and forum posts about games that can be made to work in app.
Axominster,
Perfect for game devs
I searched for an app like this but I didn't think I would actually find one!

I am currently creating my own card game and was looking for an app that I could import my photos and have them in a deck and it look like it would once they're printed & cut. I also wanted to be able to organize & show them off without having to just scroll thru images on my iPad. So far this app seems perfect for what I wanted to do!!

What I wasn't expecting was to be able to test play with the deck that I built! This app has many great features to actually test your deck without trying to build your own or the costly route of having multiple beta decks printed while you tune your game. Thanks so much for developing this app. It looks like the only one on the App Store.

Only bug (I think) I've found is that if you lay one card on top of the other, it appears that you have to pick up both, not just one.
Brad Olson,
Traveling with my LCGs...I love this app!
I frequently travel for business. I'm also a huge fan of LOTR:the card game LCG, and recently Baseball Highlights 2045. There's a bit of a learning curve for this app, and scanning in the cards is a little fiddlely, but it's worth it! Great design. The author of this app clearly is a CCG/LCG player too. I love the ability to use sliding trays, and the new function for creating tokens, and also the ability to load a custom table background. Now these games can travel with me anywhere. Thanks!
