Maintenance update.

The app now uses the standard iOS file browser, and we recommend saving any current documents and closing the app prior to updating. On first launch, if it opens in the "Recents" files tab, then browse to "On my iPad" and then to this app's documents. If the app were not fully closed prior to updating then the documents folder may appear empty when first opened, in which case close the app in the iOS home page and relaunch it.

Gaming1,
Great little app for structural engineering students!
This app works great for playing with different structure geometries and load configurations to develop a more intuitive understanding of structure behavior. Being able to see how a structure deforms is especially useful when first learning matrix methods of structural analysis. Since these methods rely upon understanding how a structure deforms under independent free DOF translations, it is useful to have a quick way to check your understanding of the structure deformations for each DOF. This goes doubly for dealing with symmetric/antisymmetric DOF sets in which two or more DOFs translate at the same time.

One major improvement the authors could make to bring this rating up to 5 star: Allow the user to select the input units. For example, I use USA as my unit setting, however the app defaults to inches for inputting structure geometry. Working in inches makes little sense as most structures are measured in 10s to 100s of feet. This makes geometry input a slight nuisance.

Other than that minor complaint, this is a great app, well worth the $1.99! Keep up the good work guys =)
