2.0
2021-05-23
Version 2 is a complete rebuild to remove our old Flash based software and meet AppStore requirements. The app is designed for iPads but this version works well on iPhones. Teachers and aides can still set options and view results by tapping on the gear icon and then the options button. This version improves support for external assistive technology switches but some rarely used features have been removed e.g. two switch control. The user's iPhone or iPad must be updated to iOS 14 or later.
1.4
2016-09-20
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
This update enables Catch the Cow to run on an iPhone or an iPad and new preview videos. All features from the previous version including teacher options and switch control are preserved. This and some of our other iPad apps are being updated for iPhone use as the new phones have larger screens.
Catch the Cow is designed to assess a user's ability to make selections either directly or using a scan. It does NOT require the iOS switch accessibility option.

1.2
2014-10-15
Version 1.2 includes a new option for manual step scan using two external switches. This allows the teacher to compare and determine whether this mode is more suitable for a user than an auto scan with a single switch.
Version 1.2 fixes iOS 8 compatibility issues including blank screen.
