CHECK GMO provides healthy consumers with knowledge about the foods they consume, using a Mobile App UPC barcode scanner. CHECK GMO’s Mobile App provides users with a simple scanning tool by a press of a button to get results on your food containing GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms), or not. Results will show GMO Free, GMO or Unverified.
If the food or skin care item shows unverified, you are allowed to submit your item to our staff to research and give you a response within 3 business days. Our pro version allows unlimited submits and also has shopping list you may share with your friends and family.

Useless app now
It WAS a decent good app. Meanwhile becoming useless as not working at all anymore.
Best solution would to remove the app from the App Store to make space for apps which at least work.

Scanned 8 items that are Non Gmo verified and they don't show in this up. Neither the one that is not. Waste of time. Glad I did not go with pro.

I LOST OVER 15 LBS!!!!
With the help of this app, I have been able to shed over 15 lbs in less than month, just by avoiding GMO foods. It has completely changed the way I look at food altogether. The barcode scanner works great at the grocery store by identifying anything that contains GMO. This helps me make better food and meal choices everyday. I have way more energy and feel so much healthier! Thanks "Check GMO" for providing such a useful tool that has greatly contributed to my newfound well being!

This is my favorite app to check GMOs. It just needs to build the database a little bit more, but I am sure it will come with time. It lets you submit new codes if it doesn't already have them in its database. It is the simplest and most straightforward app I have found. Well worth a 2 dollar donation! Many Thanks to the maker of this app!!! I use it almost every day! Please keep up the good work!
