Description

No subscriptions. No advertisement. No in-app purchases. Please enjoy this App. and take a look at my other diet tracking app in kind. Your support is very welcomed. Thanks...

Use with virtually any existing diet program. The key to this app is in its simplicity. Create your plan by selecting FOOD GROUP portions for your daily consumption. Keep in mind that the app will not tell you what a specific portion is. It is up to you to determine what these portions are according to the diet plan you are following. Consult your health care professional before starting any diet plan. Select how many portions of each category for daily consumption. Icons represent each food group. For example if you have 5 portions of a food group to consume daily, then you will have 5 icons to check off and so forth for each group.

+ Create your food group portions daily plan.
+ Check portions off as you have them during the day.
+ Saves daily entries automatically.
+ Delete past entries and current portions settings*.

Please enjoy life by having healthy habits. Cheers and good luck.

* Makes the app run faster after many days of use. Warning: Past and current data will be removed from the app, you will have to manually reset your portions again.

NickiDominates,
Awesome and Simple
I've been tracking my food using Lifesum, which has been great for learning about what foods are healthy/unhealthy, but I knew I wouldn't use it forever because it takes a lot of effort to track everything you eat. Now that I know more about healthy eating I'm glad I've found a simpler way to track my food choices.
smalind,
Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!
TL;DR Grateful to have found an app where you can just set and count food groups.

I have a meal plan in place provided by a dietician I’m working with, I just needed a way to track daily food groups, NOTHING ELSE.

I have a history with an eating disorder, so my plan is focused on just getting proper amounts of nutrition each day rather than obsessing over counting calories, macros, carbs, etc.

You would not believe how hard it is to find a simple app where you can JUST set and track your food groups and not have to count a thousand other things, or have the app decide for you what you should be consuming. This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for, and I’m very grateful to have found it!!!! I also love that you can edit the names of the groups to suit your needs. Can’t say enough positive things about this!!!
HH33US,
Good
I love the simplicity and graphics of this app. I wish it allowed you to enter serving size (ex. Ounces or cups) and check off half servings.
rettwhizzer,
Would have been a 5 but ...
I would have given this app a 5 except for two reasons. Tracking half portions is not possible (except) if you want to have your desired portions screwed and add a single half portion to the food group) and the app requires you to leave it open and running at all times or it deletes all of you data and portion settings. No good.
KAB132245,
I like it!
This app is exactly what I was looking for: a visual list of what I have consumed over the course of the day so I know if I've followed my diet well or am not getting enough of a food group. I do wish I could add in a category but other than that it works for me.
HMZ83,
Should be free
Yes, it does what it says it does, but in the laziest way possible. It would be great if you could change names of categories, and have the option to record if you go over the ideal number of servings. it would be helpful to be able to check off servings by meal and also see the daily totals, and how many servings are left of each item. Also, I'd like an edit feature to enter servings for the day after midnight. Honestly, a rally system like this is so simple it would be a great addition to any other nutrition app. Imagine if it automatically estimated calories, and allowed you to take notes or record specific meals. I was looking for a tally system because my nutritionist gave me a paper version of one. Unfortunately this one is SO simple it is not functional. I think the designers would benefit from talking to nutritionists and their clients when designing this. It's only 99cents, but at this point I'm better off tracking my nutrition with pen and paper.
lilliejl,
Better than nothing
I wanted something like the old Richard Simmon's Deal a Meal cards to use. My ideal app would allow me to Choose my calorie needs for the day, figure protein, carb & fats, divide them into servings (by default and by my own choosing) of food groups, and have an easy to see screen divided into groups. I want to include how to figure number of grams for each of protein, carbs, fats as calculated by percentages, so I can vary my intake, say, of protein from 30% to 25% or whatever, same with carbs & fats.
Frost907,
Technically works...
It technically does what it's supposed to but if I pay money for something I expect it to be a little better than this. I should only have to set my portions once, not every day. It doesn't sync with other programs. It doesn't really give you good hints or a guide of what a proper serving looks like. Pretty disappointed with this app. Wouldn't recommend spending the money on it. If it where free it wouldn't be a biggie.
eleanddon,
Giving a high 5
Been using a couple days and think I may have finally found what I want. Simple easy to track my exchanges. One thing I would like though is to be able to sync from iPad to phone.
W-B,
Handy App
This app does exactly what it says it will. It provides a check-off. It can easily be used for Diabetic exchanges or the OLD Weight Watchers programs (Freedom Plan and earlier). This is the only app I found that will do this.

Two things that would make it a five star app:
1. The ability to log food or journal short notes. (For me, this would help to make sure I didn't forget anything.)
2. The ability to go back and add changes to previous days.

Thank you for this fine app!
