This is a convenient chemistry tool for students and professionals to calculate molecular mass (molecular weight) of compounds and learn basic properties of chemical elements on iPhone and iPod Touch. The app optimises the keyboard and makes it easy for users to input a chemical formula and then calculate its molecular mass. Long-pressing on an element's name will display the basic properties of the element.
Main features:
1. Optimised the keyboard makes it easy for users to input a chemical formula and calculate its molecular mass.
2. Long-pressing on an element's name, the app will display the basic properties of the element.
3. Provides English pronunciations of all elements' names (internet connection required).
4. Quick video tutorial shows you how to use this tool.
The iPad version of this app, called ChemCalc, has been released for many years and is highly recommended by our customers. You can also download it from the App Store if you are interested.

Looked nice when I opened it. But then I had a compound with 15 carbons and it calculated it as C5 instead of C15. When I checked C11 it calculates at C1. Apparently C10 is the limit unless there is something I am missing. Does it only recognize molecular formulas as opposed to empirical formulas? If the former then it needs to be fixed.
