Cherkalka is a great tool when in need to note quickly on a photo, just to sketch or write, all these without launching a heavy notepad.
The app includes a photo editor and an action extension.
The photo editor allows you to make notes on photos right from the Photos app without launching the app.
The action extension gives you possibility to handle pictures from any app supporting that feature and share the results. Note: not every program able to receive the result after you press the Done button, e.g., the Photos app does not support that feature, in the case with the Photos use the photo editor.
Cherkalka can:
• draw and erase;
• change width and color of the pencil, color of a note;
• share created pictures;
• utilize photos;
• store created notes and duplicate them;
• eliminate palm touches when you use a stylus.
The full version in addition can:
• resize the note;
• move and rotate layers of strokes and background;
• scale the current note view;
• change width and color of a pencil in the photo editor and the extension;
• sync notes via iCloud;
• to not show the app logo on exported pictures.

Works like a charm with photo notes
I use this app to communicate with my dev team, showing them what I need to be fixed when I am on the road and can't use Jira. I haven't used it yet for fun but for work I find ii already a must! Easy to use, friendly UI, very intuitive. Thanks guys, great job!

Undo and redo features missing
Their 2 things that could make this a good app
Was no undo and redo features when creating blueprints or patterns to use upon pictures.
This app is faulty with no undo redo feature and also we can’t create notes upon clear background a format that is interchangeable with applications on personal computer like adobe or their competitors .
It would be useful if I could draw in vector compatible format ready to be worked on on illustrator or GIMP or photo editing or Astropad like procreate style app or drawing apps for apple tablet or something similar to a clear background and I can place the note I create upon any photo or picture or background... making it resizable and fully adjustable to different proffessions and trades or functions like creating useful blueprints and patterns and notes for professionals
The fact it was missing this feature makes it a mediocre app but 10 better than the other Apple Pencil apps that seem to be scams more than tools to create legitimate documents or legitimate notes worth using ,,
If u agree,,,, rate one star low simply until we get a decent response.

Useful
Haven't used it for a long time, but within that time I definitely found a use for the app. And I can easily imagina lots of use cases for it. Be it in the office, or between friends.
It could use an undo button though. Unless there is one and I missed it somehow.
Color selection could really use an update to incorporate smooth scrolling and not just a point selection.
However, I really like how the width is indicated while being adjusted.

Really Nice to Use, Needs better quality line...
The line work looks kind of blurry on my screen, iPhone X. Everything else is great, hope an update comes.

Sign your photos
Easy to use app. As already mentioned in a previous comment crashes when you are trying to take a photo. Photo gallery works well. Easiest way to comment your photos or to make sketches

Fun and helpful!
Fun to use. I let my kids play with this app when I am running errands and need them briefly preoccupied. However, I enjoy it too when I'm settling down at the end of the night.

Beautiful and handy
Very beautiful, intuitive and handy way to comment on your photos. -1 star: app crashes if I want to take a photo with the camera. The photo library works perfectly. Iphone 6, ios 10.2.
