Description

Learn the bound pronouns of Cherokee.

This is a custom flashcard program to help with learning the bound pronouns of the Cherokee Language.

Includes synthetic speech generated by espeak-ng for each of the conjugated challenges to help with learning pitch and cadence. Synthetic speech is not perfect, headphones are strongly recommended.

For a real learning experience, try the audio only mode using only the conjugated forms with headphones on!

Displays either Syllabary, Latin, or both with or without pronunciation markings.

Practice sets include both "bare" and "conjugated" forms.

Tracks progress and shows the cards that you actually need studying each day.

Unlike many other flashcard programs, it isn't designed to be dogmatic about timings. It has a "jump a day forwards" option, where you can jump forwards in the scheduling as if a day had already passed, and, the timings are set to have a maximum "jump" of one day if you miss a day so that the software doesn't try and feed you the entire deck in a single session ...

Additionally, it only feeds you new cards if you successfully complete all current pending cards within the minimum session time (10 minutes) so that you only get new stuff after you perform decently with existing stuff (from day to day).

Jumpingmouse1987,
No pronunciation
This app is amazing! The fact that someone took the time to make and do this is incredible. However, without actual spoken language to go with it I feel that it will not be of much use. I can not understand these things entirely without hearing it being spoken. I can not pronounce the accents and stops without hearing them otherwise this would be a 5 star (possibly a 7 star) I hope they plan to add audio soon.
rachelhe@,
No audio, can’t figure out
The audio doesn’t work, and no, I am not on mute.
It seems that there are multiple meanings for each syllable, that is fine. But then it seems to change between what is shown as correct in the original slide and then what is excepted as any answer in the next slide.
As a beginner I cannot make enough sense of this to be able to make use of it.
There are no instructions for how the app itself is structured or how to read/follow the slides that are presented.

Kudos for creating it, now please make it usable for beginners.
