Description
Practice Chinese pronunciation and sentence melody by trying to get as close to the native speaker as possible. One school of learning languages says starting learning pronunciation first (before you know a lot of vocab or grammar), will save you a lot of time later that you would otherwise have to spend on unlearning wrong pronunciations patterns.
You will see a sentence in Chinese characters. If you think you know how they are pronounced, you can record yourself right away. If not, you can let the app show you the pronunciation in pinyin and if you want the sentence's translation. All you have to do to practice the sentence is to tap and hold the Record button, say the sentence in Chinese, then release. You will hear your recording, followed by the native speaker saying the sentence, letting you compare the pronunciations.
Repeat recording and comparing the sentence until you feel you came close enough to how the native speaker says it. Then advance to the next sentence. There are 1648 sentences for you to refine your pronunciation.
