Limited functionality but good when it works
Payment - only works when using PayPal. So ridiculous to jot work with bank cards or Apple Pay
Functionality - A few months ago the app updated and now it ONLY works when you’re connected to a wifi network IN MEXICO. Border towns be danged, and even worse since it’s only ON WIFI you can be in Mexico on your way to the theater in a taxi and still not be able to buy tickets.
Use - if you have the right combination of factors allowing you to use the app as intended, it’s great. Use your Club Cinépolis benefits easily. Sort by theater or sort by movie to see all the times and theaters playing in your area. Pick your seats. Pre-purchase concession (especially beneficial for VIP theaters). If they made it work all the time and took away payment issues, the app that works is exactly what you’d want.

Card issues
Impossible pay with Mastercard or visa from US, and also block my purchase. I was used before with the same cards a few months before. Now they apps removes más seats and imposible purchase with citibank / chase / bank of America. The app not show all the food menu.

Worst app ever
It is not worth it. I would give it zero stars if I could. There was a time that I could use it with no issues, but in the past two months I can’t . There is an error message all the time popping up that says to verify my internet connections and try later. It never changes and I have checked my connection and everything but nothing seems to change. Too bad is not working, it used to be good but not anymore. Even the staff from the movie theater knows this app is not working right now. They have no idea why is not working and nobody seems to care.

App is NOT working can’t see movie schedule and can’t navigate over the app every time gets me out of the app , previous it was working good now is almost about a month not working properly, and can’t buy tickets and can’t see movie schedule and can’t see nothing of my profile FIX IT really needs I CANT LOG IN , I tried delete app and reinstall and now worse can’t log in stuck and tells you need a good internet connection when my phone have internet and when I am at work gets too the wireless internet connection and nothing works

The most unintelligent people updated this app and ruined the whole purpose of it. They shouldn't be working for this company or anyone who made the dumb decision to change and ruin the app. The whole purpose and functionality of the app is gone, as of today I have deleted it no use of having it anymore you cannot book any tickets without being in Wi-Fi in Mexico. Even living there if you're out and about and on the way to the theatre you must be on WIFI only Mexico 👎🏼👎🏼 zero stars!

App doesn’t work anymore
Use to buy tickets with the app all the time, now is TRASH!!, I’m not able to see movie schedules, purchase tickets, food, or even log in to my account anymore. The only times I’ve been able to use it it’s when I’m inside Cinepolis and using their wifi. Why even have the app in that case?? The purpose of the app is to see the schedules and purchase the tickets in advanced.. they better fix it soon

The worst app ever built?
I’ve been living in Mexico and trying to use this app for 14 years. Every year brings a new version and every year it continues to crash when you try to buy tickets. And the worst part is when it crashes and then you go back in, the seats you wanted to get are blocked off. Astonishingly terrible app. And how the business team continue to pay whoever the developers are is baffling.

App does not work as designed.
To be honest this company cuts corners and doesn’t manage the app properly. For one it doesn’t accept American cards, only Mexican Mastercards, then the app DOES not let you log in, it refreshes and crashes. Poor and lack of attention as usual in Mexico’s customer service experience 0/5 stars. Hope the developers can get this app working 100%, and hope they ramp up their customer service.

Useless app
You cant pay unless you use paypal, which is no problem atleast theres away around that. But what am i supposed to do when the application wont even let me see showtimes because “i am not connected to the internet. Which i am. This application is completely useless. Reached out to cinepolis through customer service and twitter yet no response.

Does no work
App does not work at all, not even load when you are not under Mexican wifi, I live across the border and was going often to the movie and now i am not able to buy tickets on the app since nothing loads due to my location on the US.
