Gdswp,
So much better than an answering service
Once we learned how to use the application which was only a matter of a few calls we have found this to be vastly superior to a human answering service. The patient leaves a short message and usually we choose the option which calls them straight back but there’s also the option to text the patient or call the patient later. And it does not reveal my cell phone number. There is also an excellent archive and all calls a date and time stamped and we have a record of when we responded.

Impressed
I never would have thought that an automated system could handle the complex way my practice takes call, but Clarus proved me wrong! The ability to respond to patients quickly and efficiently through various forms of communication while protecting our personal phone numbers has been great for my practice. We have also been able to utilize midlevels more by routing calls to them and then they escalate to a physician easily if needed. Not to mention, the team at Clarus is quick and responsive to any changes we might need to make.

Surgeons on call
Being on call while in the OR made me nervous about the idea of transitioning to a different service, but with Clarus it’s easy to handle the calls. I can easily triage the call, respond as needed and help my patients all without having to worry about breaking scrub. Once I’m finished in the OR, it’s simple to follow up as needed and add documentation straight from my phone.
scottreynolds,
Easy to read, reply, and document patient calls
I used an operator before. Very inefficient. Lots of inaccurate or missing calls. And taking notes was nearly impossible. Clarus has made this process much simpler. Lots of notification options.
DrMDavis,
Great group
We have been very happy with the Clarus team since we migrated from an answering service full of mistakes. Always ready to help and easy to work with. The app has had a few glitches here and there but they continue to make improvements.

Worst app ever
I am a physician who was forced by my employer to use this sham. It is absolutely the worst fun timing all of all time. The calls are garbled, take forever to transcribe, and the interface is terrible. The developers of this should be ashamed of themselves as they are clearly not fit to get dressed, much less develop an app. To all physicians out there who may have to use this, FIGHT BACK!!!
$pablo,
Junk
This is one of the worst things to happen to healthcare. Patients using the app are directed to a phone tree that often drops calls or routes to the wrong option. This is dangerous for patient care. Hospitals and provider that use this should not be trusted as they are maximizing cost cuts at the expense of patient care.
Casual Ortho Runner,
4.2 is more buggy
I was satisfied with this app until the latest update yesterday. I updated to avoid getting the frequent request to update each time I started the app and now I still get the update message and I’ve already updated the app. It no longer transcribes my messages since updating as well.
hubto,
Not good
No ability to route calls to external practices who might be in your call group. Clarus only works if all the members of a call group are internal to the group. Half baked and they refuse to address this serious short coming. You have to call their admin on call to make the switch manually in this scenario.
MK09,
Terrible app for call
Not user friendly. Eats away your battery. Not great compatibility with Apple Watch/iPhone if they’re both on and connected. Pages take too long to come to our phones. Dictation too delayed.
