Description

Test-safe calculator. Statistics • Graphing • Scientific • Matrix calculator. 100% free. No ads. No “upgrade to unlock” functions. All equivalent functions of a TI 84 calculator, Casio calculator or HP calculator.

Paying $100+ for a graphing calculator is just silly. Here’s our logic:
1. We’ve built a beautiful, easy to use online digital calculator right there on your phone.
2. The problem is, that you can’t use your phone on tests, so you’re stuck paying $100+ for your calculator.
3. Not anymore!
4. With our easy-to-use Test-Mode lockdown, you can now use ClassCalc on tests. Teachers can ask students to temporarily lock their own devices* out of all outside distractions such as instagram, calls and texts, keeping students focused in class, and preventing cheating on tests. Students can leave Test Mode whenever, and once they do, the teacher is notified.

*Note: Teacher only has access to whether the student is in lockdown mode or not, and nothing else. The teachers will NOT be able to control their student’s device.

sarahhsmiith,
Super convenient for a college student
I’m a college student studying chemistry and this app is amazing. I have the TI-84 calculator which is great, but is super inconvenient to carry around all day. It’s so much easier for me to just use this app on my phone or iPad to solve my chemistry calculations. This calculator is just like my TI-84 but has better features.
My favorite thing I like to do with this app is to double tap an equation I previously entered and pick and choose data values to change. This saves me a ton of time on completing labs and problems where I have to enter several data values into the same equation. Yes, you can do this on a TI-84, but it’s easier to do this through a touch screen device rather than through scrolling.
ClassCalc also has a super clean design and makes me excited to my homework. I don’t understand what half of the keys on my TI-84 mean but on this app everything is super organized by category, thus making it way easier to use. Love it!
Prof. Spaniol,
Great for College classes
I am a math professor at a community college and I have been using ClassCalc with my College Algebra, Statistics, and Calculus I students for a semester now and I don't think I will be going back to TI. This calculator has all or almost all of the features I need to teach my classes and they keep adding new features. The team is also very responsive to any needs I have. The user interface is also much easier to understand compared to TI graphing calculators and the cost savings is immense. So for today's modern students who have their phones within arms reach at all times this app seems to be a perfect replacement for traditional graphing calculators. Add in the test lock out feature and the web app and it has everything I need in the classroom.
Greynak,
Every teacher needs this!
Students never leave their phones at home so now they always have a calculator in my class! I love the test modes in ClassCalc that allow me to customize the calculator to my specific classroom. More importantly, every teacher wants this calculator in their students’ hands because the test mode takes away all other distractions of the phone during class. Teaching stats this year has been a lot of fun because the students don’t get bogged down with calculations and can concentrate on the concepts. I also love that I can use it across platforms: Samsung Note 8, iPad, and desktop computer! I’m looking forward to the handheld version so I can have extras in my classroom.
Skiintiger,
Now My Favorite Calculator (AP Stats Teacher)
For many years I have been a proponent of the TI calculators. This is due to their functionality, widespread use, familiarity, etc. However, this company has been working very hard to make this calculator a real competitor. I have loved GeoGebra and Desmos but neither of them really met the needs for high school mathematics as they lacked tools for all subjects. ClassCalc now meets the needs of all the subjects we teach at the high school level. It has all the required statistic functions, calculus functions, graphing tools, etc. I love how visual it is, much like Desmos. I also know they are working to get it approved for the ACT, SAT, and AP Exams!
Chao267,
Easy to navigate through so many functions
ClassCalc has so many functions. It’s easy to find different functions and quick to calculate. I have been searching for a calculator app with scientific calculation and graphic calculator. The default iOS calculator is only a basic one. I thought maybe if an app contains too many functions, then the buttons will be too small for users. ClassCalc shows that an app with multiple functions can have big buttons as well. I would recommend students who need a calculator to use this for study. It will save a lot of time.
rawsay,
Wonderful app for my students
All my students absolutely love this application. It’s fun, it’s intuitive, it’s easy to learn, and most importantly, it’s free!

As a teacher, I know how challenging school can be for students. This application really helps our district provide the tools our students need to learn better and feel better about themselves. Not every student can afford $100-$150 for a calculator and we want all our students to have the same opportunities for success.

Thank you, ClassCalc, for such a wonderful and much needed addition to our education system!
was loyal fan,
College Professor
I absolutely love ClassCalc. The ease in use is so intuitive with all of the features of any quality graphing calculator at a fraction of the cost. The teacher interface is super easy to set up classes for testing and you can even customize the calculator for each exam by creating custom calculators, turning on and off the features needed. While in the testing mode you get an easy to read page of all students in the test and their status. I can't say enough about this app.
Deanna Grunfeld,
Great statistics and graphing features. Easy to use.
ClassClac is great. Our teacher gave us the option to either buy a TI84 or use ClassCalc for our statistics course. I chose ClassCalc because I didn’t have the money to pay for a TI84. At first, I was a little nervous because it was a new software, but I quickly figured out how to use all the ClassCalc stats functions. I’d highly recommend anyone considering calculators right now to use ClassCalc - its got a friendly design and is super easy to figure out.
Clearheaded?,
Great for calculations on the go!
I recently downloaded this app and have found myself using it quite often. On the calculator included with iPhone, I often had to flesh out the final steps of many calculations on my note pad. Now it’s so much easier to do on the go calculations for my personal finances, etc. This app has already saved me time!
Doge pants,
It’s got some bugs
While I agree that this is a great idea I’ve already noticed two problems with it first there’s a glitch where you can’t input numbers and it will consistently delete them the other is that once you leave a test that you have been locked onto there’s a chance that the outline of the calculator will still be visible. I don’t know why or how it got there I did multiple resets and uninstalled the app and it’s still there. Please fix this
