Great but tweaks are slow
UPDATE: The developers have finally updated the app, or rather Apple finally approved it!
The app does exactly what it says. My biggest issue is when i try and type a message on my iPhone XR the text line gets covered by the on screen keyboard and I can’t see what I am typing. I have emailed back and forth with support about this but the issue still persists even though I was just told it was fixed. There hasn’t been an update for 3 months so where is the fix? I still get a hidden text box when typing :/

Stop complaining and ask for help
This is a message to all the teachers and users that can’t figure out how the iOS app works...first off the support team at Classcraft are great guys and gals that are more than willing to help you solve any problems if you just ask, so don’t give them a bad rating just because you can’t figure it out..secondly make sure your device is updated to latest version of iOS and make sure the game is updated to the latest version..all major features are only available on the desktop version while the app is meant to be mostly a take home secondary feature so they can complete quests and turn in assignments, train the pets, buy new items and even though some features can be used in class too, it’s not the main purpose..I’ve been using it for only 6 months and everything works fine if you know what you are doing..they are always coming out with new features and updates so I’m excited to see what they have planned for the next few months..the new vr quest is sure to be a hit with the students, and I’m sure the other new features they are planning will be a huge help for many teachers. So in conclusion don’t hate on them and give it a bad rating, they are doing a great job and just trying to make our jobs more fun and easy.

Needs some work to be on the App Store
I’m a student, and we use classcraft for our work. I had recently downloaded the app onto my iPhone, so then I wouldn’t have to get my chromebook to do all my assignments. With the new iOS 14, I decided that it would be great for when my teacher assigns work with videos, because then I could open Google Docs and answer the questions related to the video, and have the video playing at the top of the screen using picture-in-picture. Today my teacher assigned work for us to do with a video and I thought that it would be a great opportunity to multitask while filling out the questions. I opened the app, which was very buggy and slow today, (It can’t be the iPhone it’s brand new from the Apple Store) and clicked on the assignment and started working. It had worked great for the first video, but when I went to the second one, this is when it started getting bad. The video would crash every 5 minutes, it took way to long to load, and it just kept on happening, over and over again. I wish that they would fix this because it made my experience overall awful, and it just makes the app look bad. I hope you all found this entertaining or what not, but that is all I have to say about this app.

Nostalgia
I was looking through my old apps when I came across this. I clicked it and a bunch of memories hit me. This app literally made me look forward to behaving in class. 3rd grade was amazing and now I’m closer to high school. I remember all the fun times. This was my favorite grade I went through. As you get older, teachers expect more from you and it gets harder. I wish my teachers would use this now in my school. I remember my team. All my old friends. Good ones and ones that left me for bad reasons. Thank you for being a part of my childhood. -Fond

It’s not ready for iPhone.
It’s not working at all on the iPhone. When getting on the app you first get a little monster saying “Oops, this page can only be viewed on a desktop computer” and this is ON THE APP. The only option it gives you is to push a purple button saying “go back” and you’re left with an infinite loading spin. The website is also not supported through mobile google chrome app by saying “browser not supported”. They show option for “supported” web browsers one ironically being chrome, next safari, and internet explorer which no longer officially exist being that Microsoft is using outlook as there web browser.

It doesn’t replace the desktop unfortunately
The main reason I keep the app on my phone is for the notifications. The work perfectly. Otherwise, I always use my desktop or even use my phones browser and go to the Classcraft site. I hate having to re log in all the time on the app. And it doesn’t have access to quests. Also I can’t select and deselect students to award xp like I can in the browser. Worth having for notifications but that’s about it.

21st century students love a good game and I’m always up for the challenge. You made it super easy to meet their needs and then some!!! I have more compliments and interactions within the student community towards each other. The personalization is key for me to include everything in one place. I love this program and so do the kids! I’m still learning in which ways it is best to implement and find the time to build solid systems both for myself and my students. I am DYING for an Apple Watch component. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. It would do a world of wonders for teachers that are using the program and working their hardest at making all of the tools work for their kiddos.

No Notifications
The app worked great until this school year. For some reason, I am no longer receiving any notifications. For example, when a student uses crystals to “cash in” a power or writes a message. This is becoming problematic in the middle of class as I have to check the website and I’m often using the computer for something else. I’ve checked the notifications setting on my iPhone and all is setup correctly there, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

I loved using this app
My teacher used this in 7th grade and the whole class was unseeded with leveling up and getting cool cloths we all had a competition we’re who ever was the highest level by the end of the year they would win something so we would always want to level up.
