Description

Water may look clean, but it can still be polluted. Clean Swim makes it easy to check water quality before you swim at over 700 beaches, rivers and lakes around New Zealand.

Keep an eye on your local swimming spots – the favourites list makes it easy to check all your usual places in one go.

Use the interactive map to discover new swimming spots nearby, plan a trip, or see how we're doing with our water quality in different parts of the country.

Water quality is tested by local councils, and many sites are tested weekly during summer.
