Description
The objective of this practice is to determine the latent heat of fusion of an ice sample, for which it is necessary to carry out the energy balance in the calorimeter. The heating of the ice, the melting of the ice, the heating of the water resulting from the melting, the cooling of the water and the change of temperature in the calorimeter must be considered. The simulator recreates a laboratory with a calorimeter, a heating plate, a refrigerator, a crystallizer with ice, universal supports, and a flask with water, among other necessary elements.
