Love this app- quirk + needs better user communication
I have been using this app for 4 years and love it.
One weird quirk is that sometimes when I upload multiple pictures it uploads them then a few hours later when I open the app again it uploaded them for a second time. I just delete them so it’s not a big deal, just a quirk.
Mid May 2022 I got an email saying Cluster was shutting down and was devastated. Mid June a family member / fellow user got an email saying Cluster was saved (!!!!), which is amazing news but I didn’t get the same email (checked spam, all folders, searched, etc). I emailed support twice but haven’t heard back. Please make sure you keep all of your users informed!

Try to find another app
I have been using Cluster for a little over 2 years now to post photos of my daughter for family. It has more or less been a decent experience, though their app can be glitchy, especially when you’re creating photo books on mobile. I found that anytime I’d try to swipe up to review my books on iPhone that it would totally crash out of the book and I’d have to go back in and start over. I got over that aggravation and proceeded to finish my books. When I went to order them, you can only order a single book at a time, so you get hit with shipping for each individual book. A full 100 page book costs $80 plus $8 shipping. They’re only tiny 12x12 books and honestly, $80 is asking too much for the result. Unfortunately, several years and thousands of photos later, I was married to the site and wanted to get my books created so I emailed customer service (Marlene) about the shipping costs which she said she’d credit back after placing my order. Five emails and three months later and I still have received NOTHING back from them. Not to mention the title printing on one of the books was cut off and I asked about correcting that as well. The app is fine if you won’t ever have to pull anything out of it, such as creating books. God forbid you need customer service to assist because it is non-existent with Cluster. I would say go elsewhere and find a better app that has actual support.

I love Cluster!
My husband and I do not have social media and are very private about sharing our pictures, so we were looking for a platform that we could use to share photos only with guests. Cluster was perfect, a super easy interface with just the right features. Easy to download too! A bonus- we can communicate with all our guests at once!! Especially helpful after the wedding to talk about forgotten items, send mass thank yous, stay in touch, and plan reunion parties. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone, no matter the age. Even our parents’ friends were active. Thank you Cluster!!

Please update the app!! No notifications
My wife and I are in our 30’s and don’t have social media. Which is why we love this app. It’s easy to use and fun. All our family lives many states away and is a great way for aunts, uncles, grandma’s and friends to see our kids grow!! We have been using this app for years and love it. We have ordered a photo book for them before and that turned out really cool!
I would rate 5 stars if I could get notifications. My only real complaint is ever since iPhone XS Max there has been NO notifications. I trying going to there website ( which is worthless, all you can do is Twitter them) I have tried sending feedback through the app with no response. I have uninstalled the app checking all the settings nothing works
So please up date the app. Your 11 months behind and serval apple updates behind. Please fix the app!

Customer service is nonexistent
We really liked this app and so does our family. It’s made sharing photos really easy. I decided to order about $200 with of photo books from them for Christmas presents and even though I got a confirmation that my books were shipped and they should be delivered within 3-5 days, the tracking information still shows it hasn’t been delivered to the carrier (and it’s been 6 days). I’ve emailed cluster through my email as well as submitted a ticket through their website, but no one has responded to my 5 attempts to contact them. There is not a phone number ANYWHERE, so I have zero recourse if cluster decides not to respond to me. It looks like not only will I not have photo books for Christmas, but it’s likely that I’ll be out $200 for items I’ve never received. Really disappointed at the lack of professionalism and respect for its customers.

Nice app with a few things to keep in mind
The app has a nice feel and has worked nicely for sharing different albums with different audiences. The only downsides are a.) the notifications don’t work well. Despite setting up the app to have me notified when comments are added or photos are liked, I still don’t get the notifications. Other users in my family have said the same thing. It would be nice for each member of a group to know when a photo has been uploaded. I emailed the app developers via the feedback tool, however never heard back. B.) the photo books are expensive compared to other apps. Still like the look and feel enough to keep using though.

Love this but…
We don’t generally put photos of our children on social media, but Cluster allows us to easily share photos privately with people who live far away. The only complaint we have about it is that it’s glitchy- uploading photos can be very glitchy sometimes, especially if you’re trying to do multiple at once. Also, notifications don’t work. I don’t get push notifications when someone likes or comments on a photo, so if I’m not actively checking, I won’t see the notification. While it’s frustrating, it’s not enough for me to stop using it. The benefits definitely outweigh that piece

Fantastic app
30-something here. I’ve always been a little uncomfortable sharing pics of my kids to public social media apps. This app lets us share our moments with a targeted list of family and friends and keep our private moments private. We have groups set up for my family, my wife’s family, and a group for memes. We’ve been using it for years. Cross posting is easy. Controls are simple and effective. The app makes it easy to share and the minimal design lets you focus on the content. Wonderful app!

Almost Perfect, but...
Cluster is a GREAT app in many ways, However, it is very frustrating that the photos in the feed cannot be arranged to suit my preference, or even in the same way as the Gallery. They are stuck in the order in which they uploaded and cannot be changed. The photos in the gallery can be arranged in a number of pre-set ways, but I have had it set the “oldest first”, and the photos are still not in the correct order. A set of photos taken on the same day will end up with a random photo from another day right in the middle. Please fix these issues and I would be happy to BUY this app, but it doesn’t suit my needs as it currently functions.

Not quite ready for prime time
I had high helps for this app when I downloaded it but unfortunately discovered that it's missing some key features that are important. The number one feature was when you go to upload a photo it will allow you to duplicate the same photo so if you take pictures and don't remember where you left off when you want to add it to your cluster group you can accidentally end up adding the same photo more than once. My second big problem with it is how slow it is it took a very long time to upload the photos on my high-speed Wi-Fi. For now I'm going to keep looking at other options.
