It has potential
When I first saw this game I was so excited I downloaded it immediately. It starts off good, the characters and the idea of the game is very fun, but then as you keep fighting different opponents it gets impossible to move to the orange belt. It says that it’s looking for someone that is on the same level as you, but then I get someone that is more higher up and it becomes less fun because I’m not going anywhere. I tried going to the card section and trying to select different card moves but every time I do that it gives me an opponent that is more leveled. Now maybe I’m not doing this right and let me know because I want to know what I’m doing wrong. All in all it’s a fun concept and I know this is a new game so hopefully there is more improvement to this in the future.

Has Some Potential
When I first saw that this was a Cobra Kai game, I flipped out! I love the movies and the Netflix series, but when I went in, I was disappointed. For starters, the graphics are so-so. To have such a big name like Cobra Kai, I would have expected much better graphic quality. This is a difficult thing to fix, I’m sure, but I know I’d be more interested in continuing gameplay if there were improved graphics. The audio is also bad. The fighters make a cringe “huh!” sound. They also occur too often and often times at the exact same time. This is a more simple fix, just make less of that sound, more noises in total, and time the correctly. I gave this game three stars because of the fact that the developers aren’t a big company. They are smaller, and this is their only application on the App Store, so I’m not angry that they aren’t perfect. I’m just a critical person, and these things bother me a bit too much, probably. But, overall, the gameplay besides graphics and audio is actually pretty good. I feel with the changes I have listed, this could be a 4-5 start game. I honestly hope the Developers can make these changes, because it’s clear that this game has a future.

I got screwed
So basically I downloaded this game back when it came out I had the skeleton Miguel skin proving it.. well I played on that account up until Kreese and his Sensei pass came out I had Kreese and everything so I stopped playing for a while and I see Johnny(my favorite) is available.. I try to load up the game tells me there is an update well it updated the same update 10 or so times before I caught on it was the same update well I tried and tried to get it to work nothing worked.. so I delete the game and redownload it well low and behold there isn’t like a profile sign in or anything so I have none and I mean none of my stuff. I email praying I can get my stuff back I emailed them a few days later they ask me for all this information and tell me they will get me back to my spot on to where I was.. this is now almost 3 weeks and I got told that my account was made like 10 days ago and they gave me 200 gold and some cash and got told sorry for the inconvience? Are you kidding me just be a man and tell me upfront I’m not getting my stuff back I highly doubt I will ever play this game again.

My new favorite mobile game
I love cobra Kai and the whole karate kid franchise I played the other cobra Kai game so it only makes sense for me to play this. At first I didn’t get the game and was confused on how to play, but now I understand the game and play it all the time and I actually got better at this game and won games without losing for a day. So if you’re a cobra Kai/Karate kid fan I would definitely recommend you to play this. The only nit pick I have is the graphics, when I saw Kreese I was ready to play as him and when I did I saw that he looked like Mike Barnes. But it’s a mobile game but still good.

Be careful if you get a new Ipad!
I had this game since it came out. It was great and the gameplay continues to be great. The problem is that I got a new Ipad for Christmas. I transferred over all content from my previous Ipad, including this game. However, when I went to play it forced me to create a new account. All of my achievements, belts, players, costumes, etc were all gone. I had spent a lot of money on character packs as well as the monthly sensai pass. Everything that I purchased is now gone. I have no clue what my original player ID# was so the company says they cant do anything. A lot of money was wasted simply because I got a new Ipad. All other games have a restore feature for purchases - this one does not. I will now cancel my monthly pass and have to find a new game. I did have a lot of fun playing while it lasted though.

I had issues with the game, but developers are highly responsive, and already I’ve seen them make improvements to the game. Once you get an idea of how to play the game, it’s a fun game.
I originally rated the game lower, due being matched in a fight against somebody with 3.5x as much health and 4X the attack points I had, but the developers responded within just a few days. Based on the updates, you can tell they’re listening to reviews, which is partially why I’ve adjusted my review to 5 stars

Has Potential, Has Bugs
Still needs some work. When running a training mini game, sometimes the mini game loads with a black screen and you instantly loose. Cannot even attempt it. Sometimes after a battle, you are instantly thrown into another one. Now that may not be so bad except when this happens you are missing all of the cards you played in the first battle. So while your opponent loads fresh, you can load with barely any cards, you have no chance.
Keep expanding the game and fix the bugs and you may have something special. Until then, frustrating to play.

Great game.
I know everyone says it, but I don’t normally write reviews and meant it. This card game is Rock Paper Scissors with much strategy, so this game is not that primitive what so ever.
Unbelievable thing to me which I haven’t seen much, is when you do online matches, and it says finding suitable player, IT ACTUALLY DOES. So you don’t get matched up against heavily upgraded players and can’t possibly win. Not a money grab game and no ads unless for a reward. What else do you want

Nice Game! Matchmaking issue?
I really like the show and happy to see they made a game version. I gave it 5 stars because I like the characters and fighting animations and it’s cool how you made it into a card game. I just got Robbie as a usable character but am having trouble finding a match. I waited for several minutes a couple times and couldn’t not get into a quick play or ranked. And I tried playing against AI but that doesn’t complete the quest. This game has potential! And more generous cards would be nice!

Great, but finally saw the fine print
Not only do I love the show, and enjoy playing this game , BUT!! My biggest disappointment about this game is the fight cards. They want you to upgrade them but this will take me for ever to do with the little they give you. Even if you buy them with your CK money. And buying a booster pack is not worth it either, they only give 4 cards. This has been the only game I haven’t deleted after a month cause granted it’s still fun for me to play. But come guys get it together and hook it up with more fight cards.
