Updated for 2022! Train for gifted and talented testing. This app is designed to increase reasoning and problem solving skills for kids in the second grade. Specifically the exercises within are for mastering the COGAT test. Inside you'll find a full test for the language and visual test portions and hundreds of questions for the number/math type areas of study.

We present a quiz of 10 questions from a bank of questions stored in the app. You get a score and the number right/wrong as well as indication of correct answers then tapped.
A full length practice exam can run you $30 in paper form, this app is presented at a tenth of the cost and features enough questions to make multiple practice exams. Our math sections in particular have over 400 questions in the bank. Lets also mention that this app is in full color unlike your expensive paper based exams. This is important as the real COGAT test uses color in the Figure Matrices and Classification.

Fixed a bug to previous update. If you missed it here is what was new in 1.8 Added a Student Stats and suggestion tool. Tap the pencil on the home screen to see it. On the stats page you can now get an avatar, tape the + Photo button to be assigned a funny face. Added Guide Mode Hints to the visual problems. Tap the light bulb on the top right of the screen to get a hint! Thanks to your feedback we have also dialed down difficulty on some questions.

Don’t bother
Plenty of errors in sentence structure and logic. Trying to get the “correct” answer will only reinforce incorrect deduction skills in the children.

Not well developed
It is obvious the developers of this app are not English speakers. There are errors with the sentence completion section and the logic used to pair words is poor. Graphic layouts of figure sequence problems are unrefined and appear to be hastily put together. It is questionable whether the developers have the professional expertise to build an app properly suited to prepare children for any GT test. Use of the COGAT acronym in the app title is likely a trademark infringement.

Great App
My 7 y/o daughter really likes likes it. Great app for last minute review since she will be having her test in 7 days. I hope there is a way to double check the wrong answers. Go over to the questions with the right answer.

Don’t waste your money!
There were several errors and really confused my daughter rather than helping her. This is terrible with this being something to help kids and answers are incorrect and grammar is terrible in some of the questions.

No solution manual

False advertising
The app description stated that the Math section has more than 400 questions in the bank. The entire app — all sections combined — has less than 200 questions. Bait and switch.

Does not align to the test
This app does NOT align to the format of the COGAT. I wanted to use it to help familiarize my child with the format of the test. The format of this app is different and confusing.
