Ace of Rage.,
Risk on steroids!
This game is amazing! It is like Risk but, a lot more in depth and much more interesting. I do have a few humble suggestions that might improve the gameplay. Having unique troop types to each civilization. Such as war elephants to Asian countries, Gatling guns to the Americans (1882 technology) or maybe being able to purchase mercenary armies from different regions. Also an option to view a breakdown list by land, armies and navies. When you play the large world maps, it’s rather a task to keep track of where everything is, a simple breakdown saying X number of troops in Ohio or Moscow is a lvl III would just help organize the warfare and growth. And lastly maybe a few more options with diplomacy. Like Annex land, bride enemy armies, marry into an alliance. But with all that I just said, this is an outstanding game, and way better than anything I could of ever come up with! I love strategy games and I know I’ll be playing this game for a long long time. I love the different scenarios, setting your own challenge level, the history behind the game, the game is just an amazing way to kick back, relax and figure out tactics, politics and financial issues!
Sara loves Brinkley,
Great game
I love it I would suggest making the Calvary bad at defense and better at attacking because right now I just use the Calvary instead of the infantry because there’s so much better. I would also make the sepoy better at defend that would give you an attacking unit and defending unit. That would give each of them a purpose. Also is there anyway we could get a historic world were the borders are historically accurate. I would love that also for Europe nations and American nations that aren’t the Indians or africans could you rename the sepoy to militia.

Addition
Hello I just thought of this I know you probably don’t have enough time to complete this right away but I would love to see an American revolution scenario although you would have to make some new unit visuals for the British and the American and the other European nations and possibly the world. I would suggest adding a new level to the tech tree so the Americans and the Europeans can still start a level ahead of the Indians and the Africans and Chinese. I would love to see the classic British redcoat and the Americans and the Spain and the French. It would open up the possibility for so many different scenarios for you.
andy.g.33,
Fun game… with some not fun issues
This game is essentially just a more in-depth version of Risk. I liked it overall, but there’s quite a few problems with the game itself. For one, the tutorial is separated into many parts based on what it’s teaching you, but the content in each segment overlaps. I went through the whole tutorial and felt like it would’ve been less confusing and time-consuming to figure the gameplay out on my own. Second, the graphics of the troop movements glitch from time to time. Either your armies become temporarily invisible, or your ships move through land terrain for no reason. Third, the in-game messages when you complete an objective (like defeating a nation or fulfilling a win condition) take up most of the screen and cover each other if there are multiple at the same time. This makes it very hard to determine if the game has ended or what your next objectives are. Also, the game has a tab on the title screen labeled “Buy” which informs you that purchasing the game will remove ads. I’ve played the game for a couple hours in total and have yet to see a single ad. Maybe that’s more of a good thing, but it also seems like it could be a way to get peoples money without changing the game in any way.

Kind of broken
The game is great until you play against more than one other nation. I can’t solve the problem in which they all want to attack me. I am not expanding, I’m already getting attacked by another nation so I am just defending, and I gave the other nations gifts. However, that doesn’t stop the other nations from declaring war while I’m already getting attacked by someone else (that I didn’t declare with). I’m literally handing out gifts at the start of the game, and the nations start attacking me 5 turns later. As soon as the other nations expand and border my country, they declare war. Apparently they won’t stand by while I become so powerful, yet they are the ones expanding!!!!
“It may get difficult later in the game.”
I get that it should get more difficult. My complaint is that it doesn’t make sense. AI will just randomly go to war with you for any reason. It’s a luck of the drawl. They find every reason to start attacking you rather than each other. They focus the player regardless of what they do. If I wanted to play the roll of a dice game domination game, I would play risk. The developer will even tell you not to worry about building alliances. Puts options in the game that even they know makes no sense because it’s random.

Great game, could use a little reworking.
I definitely enjoy this game as it takes plenty hours out of my day… everyday. However, some aspects of the game do not make sense to me. I still have yet to grasp the fort > cannon > man power ratios. I have lost so many battles that I for no reason can understand why i did. I feel like 9 times out of 10 your personal forts never hold up, but everyone else’s does. Moreover, some countries come out of the early rounds with 7-10k troops in multiple colonies when the player only has 2-3k in each. I understand having to earn the end, but sometimes you just get set up for failure because of the AI. Making alliances is extremely difficult as well. Like someone else stated, countries will attack you after making an alliance just the round before, and it ends up just being a great waste of money. Is there a tips and tricks website to better understand this stuff? Otherwise, great game on the devs part.
BOBYJOE101,
Alright…
I have played a couple of games of the whole world map and I’ve notice that your allies aren’t really allies they leave you instantly it feels and you can be as best of friends with a nation and they turn on you in one turn. I was playing a game as Prussia and I was doing well I was best friends with Russia next thing I know they turn on me and invade me. Then other countries would declare war on me. So I had a total of 6 countries declare war on me out of the blue and I couldn’t do anything and they were all superpowers as well. The whole corruption aspect in the game is dumb and becomes ridiculous late game when over half of your income is just gone. I feel as if you should make it so we don’t have to play with corruption because I stood no chance with the little income I was getting because of the corruption. The AI is just ridiculous how it goes from one extreme to the next… I made peace with many nations and they would just declare war on me the next turn so what is even the point of paying a country for peace. All in all there is a lot of mechanics I feel in the game that just ruin it because of how ridiculous they are.

REVIEW IS FOR RETURNING PLAYERS OF SERIES, IF NEW JUST PLAY AND ENJOY

While I love this series of games (if it’s technically a series), I think this one is a very mixed entry. There’s a lot of good and bad, so I’ll go over it individually.

Good changes from French and Indian war:
-More scenarios
-Entire world for the map
-Technological generations showing the progress of history
-Combat seems more consistent as to what army will win which engagement
-Terrain matters more in baffles

Unnecessary/bad changes
-Simplified combat, you can no longer fire on an enemy to weaken them. Now you must just clash it out by throwing what you have at them.
-Other nations really want to go to war with you, even if they’re in no position to do so and you haven’t provoked them. I get nations need to expand, but it feels like the AI are determined to go to war with you no matter what you do (unless you make an alliance). This could be an issue in previous games too but it’s still upsetting it’s yet to be fixed.

It’s still a very good game, and an entertaining addition to the best series of games for mobiles, but I do wish they didn’t do away with the previous combat. It really hurts the game, and feels like an unnecessary change. If the devs read this, I really hope the next game has a skirmish mechanic. Maybe even do a medieval game where only armies with ranged could do a skirmish attack, while melee armies can only full rush.
Dauntless07,
If RISK was a Good Game,
Then, it’d probably be something like this. Unlike that game, you can’t simply roll the dice until the enemy stacks are ground down here. You’re limited to 1 attack per stack. The units are well thought out, with an edge given to the defender.

This is all fine, but what isn’t fine are the all-powerful forts. Their construction is limited only by a faction’s cash. They’re tolerable on the bigger maps, but for the smaller ones it can quickly devolve into a WWI stalemate. (Chinese Warlords map is a perfect example of this.) I think they should require multiple turns to be constructed. After all, it took time to build impressive defenses in reality.

I still recommend you try it. Ads between turns get annoying, but the Dev’s gotta make a profit somehow. There’s no pay to play trash here, he delivered a good game worth your time and purchase. It makes me feel like dusting off RISK, to see if any of these mechanics translate well.
_MILK_MAN_,
Some problems I noticed while playing
I’ve been playing this game for over 3 months now and I really do love it, and there a lot of room to make this game better such as introducing new units for specific countries and so on, now this isn’t to give new idea but to fix some bugs, first bug is north vs south medium difficulty (don’t know if that matter) if you play confederacy and builds ships at the capital they won’t actually build but you will lose money this happens a lot in different maps for different country’s mainly ships haven’t had an unit problems, another thing is the ads, I know the developers are a small team working hard but to many ads after every turn Or every other, I fine with ads, bought the paid version but if possible can you reduce them?
Thanks for your hard work dev team and keep it up, this is by far my favorite app.
Logan OOF,
Love this game 🎲🎲🎲🎮🎲🧩
This is a great game i love everything about this game and hope you never stop updating it. It would be really cool to see a sandbox mode where you could choose your starting cash and troops and make your own scenario. Also i saw Netherlands in the tutorial but the country isn’t in the game at all. Anyways great game and i think it’d be cool to be able to see who your at war with like if you hit “parley” on someone else. Which is a bug i found out which i like but how it works if one of the bots moves troops on your land and you click on their army and hit parley it shows your status and who your at war with and you can trade and call war on your self which i’m pretty sure doesn’t work. Anyways thank you for reading this, i love this game as I said please never stop updating it.
